I've been thinking about this for a little while and after a lot of hemming and hawwing and I'm-not-good-enough-ing I've decided that I'm gonna start taking commission for Dessies art--well, art in general but Dessies in particular because we all love a good fanart.

Obviously this doesn't apply to like, chibis and things. XD But I mean if there's something specific someone wants done (and more specifically, done WELL, with shading and so on,) then it'd be really lovely for me to be able to make a bit of money off of it. I am essentially a starving artist worried to death about soon-to-come uni fees after all, and hey, marketable skill.

How much would you be looking for for larger pics??

I'm really not sure. It depends on how big "larger" is, and what the actual content is. I was thinking of either working out prices individually based on complexity and so on, or setting a price per hours worked. I want to be able to make some money off this without asking too much of anyone.

Crisis of faith:

My friends made me watch the Sherlock Holmes movie, under extreme duress (I'm one of those book purist nerds, so the HP movies alone get me up in arms as it is. I'M A NERD OKAY), and it made me realize how much I really, really like Rachel McAdams.

Spoiler: As in, maybe she could be a very solid Lorelei if she could get over the whole "let's wear my hair up or totally not have bangs" thing

I'll be back home tomorrow night, thankfully, meaning I should be able to get a bit of work done in peace. Something I discussed with Alex has reignited the flames of...well, something inside of me that's apparently flammable and wanting to write something really awesome.

Also, ladies and gents, we have two more fight posts until we can whip up that everyone-back-together post and then split for the mansion or the city. Please please please can we get these done.
Tennyo, I don't want to sound mulish or anything, but you told me almost two months ago you'd get your post done in a week or so--after I asked if you'd like me to write it so it would be up faster.
I don't know what's going on in the realm of Telran/Terra/etc so I can't say anything to that, but really, how are things coming along?

I want everyone to realize something. This time last year? We were at Telran's place preparing for the ball.
It has been one year since that.
