Incidentally, all: I remarked to Alex last week that I thought the return of the big Dessies chats was well in order. It occurs to me that we were super productive in 2010, and we had these chats quite frequently - sometimes several in a day. While we do still need to keep important stuff regarding the work in the discussion and planning threads and stuff, it's equally important that we communicate with each other in a more instantaneous format the way we used to; that way, people aren't waiting for replies in a thread, or a PM/VM/whatever.

On top of that, I also noticed that our productivity ground to a SCREECHING halt around the time we stopped having these chats. And while I believe in coincidences, that one is a bit much, I'd say.

It is my opinion that it would be not unreasonable to try to have one big group chat regarding stuff in the RP once a week. Thoughts?

I agree with the above course of action, whole-heartedly.
Somebody set a time (or better yet a day, so that people can drop in and out when available due to free time) for this. May I suggest a weekend day (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) if this is okay for most people?

I am SO DOWN for that. Keen, you are absolutely right; one of the things that I've griped about most as a cause of the 1000% decrease in productivity is that nobody TALKS about it in a big fun group anymore, which is what used to get people so hyped for new ideas. Bringing it back would really make the whole thing ship-shape again.

Please do make it a weekend, as I'm around on those properly!

Also: welcome back, Kris. <3 And I'm really glad you're taking the initiative to step down where you need to. Good on you, man.

By no means do we want you anywhere away from the RP (You have a fantastic mind ) but we'll just make sure that your characters progress along as everybody else's do. I'm just worried about how often I will have to write 'And then Kaden sniffed Emma' 0_o

So, I just imagined you whispering about the tricksy Animus after your precious? Riiight... But seriously, thanks for all the words of support, guys. It wasn't an easy decision, and one I'd've prefered not to have made. However, while my imagaination is ticking over at full strength, my ability to turn it into words seems to have gone into mush.

And Kaden doesn't have to sniff her - he's able to pick up the scent of Destrillian from miles away, so being in the same room as one is more than close enough. XD

I haven't got to there yet, but if you mean what was discussed about Emma in the spoiler thread, I am well aware of the irony. Kaden however, is oblivious. He is, however, gonna wise up about some of his own story in the next story post I write, though. I just want to know if Telran's apartment is going to be left for good in the near future... *shifty eyes*

Also, re: megachats - just make sure that I don't miss too much again. I know it'll only be an issue for a limited time... =/
