I'm a huge Clerith fan ! Has anybody seen this wonderful site ? It supports good reasons that Cloud loved Aerith more than Tifa. It's a beautiful place...

Here's some good examples of Clerith being stronger than Cloti.
1. Cloud and Tifa were close childhood friends.
~ False. Tifa clearly states during the Lifestream Event that she and Cloud didn’t know one another very well as children
2. Cloud and Tifa spend a romantic night under the Highwind together near the end of Disk Two.
~ There are two different versions of this scene and the version which a player gets is determined by Tifa's affection level with Cloud as governed by the Date Mechanism. In the Low Affection version, Cloud completely shuns and rejects Tifa's affection in that scene. Therefore, Cloud's affection towards Tifa is completely optional to the player.
5. Cloud and Tifa have sex under the Highwind.
~ There are at least three versions of the scene where they spend the night under the Highwind, and Cloud is capable of completely rejecting Tifa's affection in that scene. In the second place, there is absolutely nothing to prove that they had sex. When Tifa says, “Words aren’t the only thing that tell people what you’re thinking”, Cloud only responds with, “………”, which leaves it open to the interpretation of the player. Furthermore, having sex with someone does not necessarily mean that you love them.
8. Aerith doesn’t get to know the real Cloud.
~ False. Confusing a memory, or having partial amnesia, does not mean that you actually become a different person. Cloud never actually "became" Zack, and he actually retained much of his own personality. Aerith even states in the Date scene that Cloud is different from Zack.
9. Aerith falls in love with Cloud because of Zack.
~ False. In Gongaga, Aerith tells Cloud that her relationship with Zack is "all in the past now". When Cloud asks Aerith in the Sector 6 playground whether she and Zack had been in a serious relationship, Aerith says, "No, but I liked him for a while." Aerith tells Cloud in the Date scene that she realizes he is different from Zack, and she shows interest in the real Cloud.
CloudxTifa advocates claim that the creators have stated that CloudxTifa is canon. They use the following page from the Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary Ultimania to support this claim:
There is a paragraph at the top of the page talking about romantic love developing between the protagonists of Final Fantasies and a screenshot of the Highwind scene is shown along with screenshots of other Final Fantasy couples. There is also a picture of the CloudxAerith date scene.
Answer: There is a page number at the top of the Highwind scene screenshot where readers can get more information about the Highwind scene. If you turn to that page, it is specified that there are two versions of the Highwind scene, and that Cloud and Tifa reveal strong feelings for one another only if Tifa's affection level is high. Therefore, SE has made it clear that Cloud's feelings for Tifa are purely optional, and that Cloud's feelings for Tifa are determined by the player's choice of responses in optional sequences. This is reinforced by the lack of any romantic scenes portrayed between Cloud and Tifa in either Advent Children or Advent Children Complete. Therefore,definitely does not prove that CloudxTifa are the canon couple of FFVII.
All this made my beliefs in Cloud and Aerith grow to one million % and the chances of Cloud x Tifa smashed to 1 %. This is a brilliant, brilliant place for a Clerith fan !
