Can't express how much this excites me. I mean, the original 8 - that's them, that's the guys! These are the DigiDestined! Not to dismiss the other series completely, but Season 1 was the(e) season for me.

I've always thought "If I could live out the adventures of any already established game, movie or TV series, the first season of Digimon has always been on the top of my list".
Hmm, upon seeing Biyomon's name is originally Piyomon, I've followed up looking at stuff about it, even learning some of the differences of the character's personality. (E.G. Biyomon's "obsession" with Sora)
In short, I'm now on a Digimon info binge
It's just really good to see Izzy getting absolutely locked, as usual.

You don't get much from the English page to work with, so the best thing to do is stay on the Japanese site and right-click (in Chrome) "Translate to English" - it works pretty well

Animation has matured in the way the characters has. It just hit me noticing how much emphasis there is on the background folk having mobile phones - with such advancement in technology and the internet & computers since when the first Digimon came out, there's a lot more they can play around with now in this setting. The opportunity presented itself, and is timed well (15th anniversary)
Grinned when I saw the picture on Tai's desk from the last episode of the first season. It's like the producers thought, "One day, this picture scene is going to be the best f*cking idea. Put it in!" A promising sign of respect in consideration of everything in the first season 
Also, is that the Series 2 group (Davis, Yolei, Cody and [I assume] Ken) who are "falling over" amid those dark red flashes? Almost certain it is.

My bad! I had done so originally yet changed my mind before posting, but
I didn't take into account people mightn't register it was them, and might not even be too familiar with them for that matter.
Hmm, I wanna know about this
Alphamon. He wasn't in either Adventure season (if I recall correctly with Series 2), so it'll be interesting to see why this battle is going on against him. Might make sense if I'd have seen the later series, heh. I got as far as about halfway through the third one but just preferred the previous ones too much to keep going.

You know what, I think I gave up on it due to attachment to the first set of characters. Now that they're getting a revival, I shouldn't have qualms watching Tamers again (or any following series for that matter) - it was quite the asinine reason, but hey I was real young at the time
EDIT: Oh, wait, I remember what really threw me off! I detested the absorbing of the data. Oh, man, I'm not sure I can go back now...

The main confrontation in the opening segment of Tri is gonna be Omnimon versus Alphamon, but I don't see why we won't see War Greymon action in there as well. Especially as we've also seen a glimpse of a full fight as Greymon.
