I just went through the character monologues and I for one don't have any problem with any of the voices. They all sound pretty fitting IMO.

Damn they really did nail Kefka he's fantastic and yeah I had smother my own laughing at his mocking of Terra cause my parents are asleep in the room above and I was starting to get a severe case of the giggles. If there's one VA they ever got right, its Kefka, I'd seriously love an FFVI remake with voices just for him alone.

EDIT: just watched that youtube vid above, Chaos I think isn't too bad but Cosmos sounds really flat in that scene I'm not sure about her yet.

Ah, I felt the same way, definitely. I'd love to see an epic character like Setzer brought to life. :excited: I'm really pleased with how sweet Terra sounds, and how amazing Kefka works the cocky-heartless-villian thing. ;D Re-make of FFVI nao plz. And not for the DS, Kiradamnit. 360/PS3 that shit!

ive already finished Destiny odyssey for Onion Knight, and there's a cut scene when Terra was being controlled, she sounds, mm, err, just like in bed scenes? lol

anyway Terra's voice there is so sweet, it fits with her, and Kefka, is the real star for VA of them all, he manage to get what I expected with Kefka

Amen! (Hooray for another Setzer fan!) I'd love to see it get a full remake, though I'm even questioning whether they'll even re-do it for the DS, due to the sheer amount of material contained within the game. A girl can dream, I suppose.

I can't wait to see more Dissidia videos, now that it's released in the US. I'd love to play it myself, but I don't have the means to.

That pissed me off too. We can see Leo get stabbed but Celes doesn't get beaten?

I heard that scene was taken out because there was some controversy in Japan at the time surrounding kidnapping and torture/beating/murder before the release of VI Advance. I think.

That aside, I have to give props to the translation team for one of the most amusing lines ever:

"Who cares? He's just another sadist with a god complex...like THAT'S something special!"

Edit: Whoops, already been said. :monster: I love Penelo's commentary on the character profiles. XD

Yeah, Setzer needs more love. Especially since they fucking mutilated his character in Kingdom Hearts. But we try not to think about that. ._. I've been waiting for a re-make forevers, so I'm always dreaming. At least IV got it's much needed attention. =)

Wow..how did they mess up Chaos' attack?!

But that's not surprising. In FFXII, Gilgamesh had the same attack name, which was called "Ultimate Illusion"...which...works, since it's a clearly obvious synonym for "Final Fantasy."

But.."Brink of Delusion?"

There was a funny thing I read in an interview with Nomura for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Every Org XIII member has a gag weapon, and apparently Luxord's is called "Kyuukyoku Mousou 13"...aka, "you know what 13". A double pun. :p

They kept the line where Kefka hums the victory fan fare, but ExDeath's line about "my final fantasy" was changed to, "Am I destined to vanish like a mirage?"

It seems they purposefully took at all references of the characters saying "final fantasy."
