I don't find it creepy, for said reasons. She doesn't even act Motherly, and the two don't interact in a way a Mother and a Son would. I can see it at first, but later on, I feel it definitely faded. And I know what happens in the game, thanks.

Luckily DMC doesn't have some huge love story to imply such. Trish and Dante are partners in hunting from time to time. Making that dirty is just fucking creepy as hell. And Dante is clearly refering to when there's violence going on in his shop. You quotes mean nothin.

DMC does NOT have a bullshit cliche love story, until DMC4 that is. But I think DxT is rather implied.

She does look just like his mom. It's a huge plot point in the first game. And there's nothing wrong with telling your mom that she's looking good, in fact it's a nice thing to do every now and then to help her self esteem.

And it doesn't matter if he sees her as a person as his mother, she still looks just like her, and there is no way in hell he does not see that when he looks at her.

That's not indicative of love at all. He clearly saw that as the same as when his mother died for him, and it depressed him. He saw her as friend by then, and he didn't want her to die like that.
