If someone comes out acting like a dick, I'm likely to do the same, and it's not likely that I will treat his posse any better when they show up for his super awesome RP.
*sighs* You're completely ignoring my point. :/
No I'm not. You're not listening to what I'm saying.
Why would my reaction to Shitkaro's people be any different than it was to him, when he behaved in such a way? People judge others based off the people they run with initially. They might be nice folks, but I don't give a shit. They were brought here thanks to him and his RP bullshit, and that ensures less than a warm welcome.
Sure, it's mostly a general reaction to current heated feelings, but that doesn't change what happened. You expect too much from me, when I've already shown you how I am time and again.
No offense meant to you, Dacon, but Tenny and I could be said to "run" with you, but I wouldn't want us to be judged on that basis. That's supremely retarded.
And, seriously, no offense meant to you. I like you. I've always liked you. But we're very different.
I also don't go out of my way to look for people who are very similar to me, not even when looking for someone to mate with. I tend to like being friends with people who have different opinions and attitudes than I do.
I am the most proudly agnostic person you will ever meet -- at least until an Ultimania comes out to establish what's canon
-- but several of my closest and oldest friends are deeply religious. Who I "run" with tells you dick about me, as there are a number of reasons
why I might be doing so, and they may not be because we share the same opinions or similar personalities.
The people in Shikaru's "posse" might be there because of a common interest somewhere, or because they have another friend who was in the RP first and recruited them; maybe they're primarily there because of that friend who isn't Shikaru. Or
maybe they just enjoy the RP itself and don't necessarily suck Shikaru's cock.
I mean, for real, dude, that's a completely ridiculous basis for determining anything about someone you've never met and I'm baffled that you would even be one to suggest it. You're usually infinitely more logical than that.
Look at Mako and I. We're both fucking nerds, and that's about the most we have in common. We both love Final Fantasy and could argue/debate/speculate endlessly about the minutiae of the plots of the various titles. Yet how often do we agree about anything?
I love talking to the guy, be it on here or on MSN, and I do so pretty much every day. But, fuck, we disagree on almost
everything. That Dissidia plot FAQ we made together was a product of disagreeing passionately with one another for days.
I think the most we agree on anything is matters related to "Yugi-Oh!" for God's sake. I also find his aggressive approach to debate and/or disagreement unsavory. But he's one of the most awesome people I know and I consider him a good friend.
But back to you. I disagree with you a lot of times also. For instance: I have good taste in women, and you don't. That's alright, though. Live and let live.

But I like debating with you as well. You're another unique individual with your own unique history and origins that have shaped you into the snarling monolith of bile and discontent that we've come to appreciate. And it's in those differences between us that I've been able to read your posts and learn from you or see something from an angle I hadn't before, and I love when that happens.
Same thing happened to me with Neo Bahamut of all people during our debates. Did we agree on a whole lot? No. Do I even particularly like debating with him? No, he's very frustrating. Did I learn from him, though? Absolutely.
Tl;dr summary: Don't say ridiculous things, please. You're too smart for that.
