I rely too much on X for updates to these games sometimes :wacky: Totally went over my head the open beta is playable right now for another two days. Get on it!

It frustrates me that this and Dissidia are in open beta at the same time and are releasing at the same time. Hard on the wallet. :closedmonster:

The beta's had server issues all day, I waited for about an hour for a match before quitting, and a lot of people cant get past the start screen. Bandai has said they're thinking about extending the beta

Despite my obsession with ARC System Works games, I'm not getting this just yet.

Main reason being: I'm not a fan of fist-fighter games.

As Fighter says in 8-bit Theater... "I like swords!"

So is this game online only or is there like a crappy single player? Or is the matchmaking any good? Beacause I'm fairly sure I wouldn't get much farther than random button bashing and cheesing, :monster:

edit: I am seeing tutorial hints on there, so that's good.

There's a single player story mode, and local vs. mode, as well as the online stuff. The Beta was just online whatnots, and the matchmaking system seemed good at what it does.

Just played my first match, and I was able to get the Goku/Frieza finisher, preetty kewl.

I'm surprised how well this plays, it flows extremely naturally, and when you get outplayed, unlike something like MvC, you know WHY you got outplayed, so you can work on it.

Does anyone else think Majin Android 21 is Fetish Fuel?

Like seriously, Majin Buu was made out of Demonic Bubblegum... you could do a lot of kinky things with that setup....

The consensus within the community is that this is a rule34 dream situation :monster:

That said I am super grateful to have another female on the roster. Before her arrival we just had 18 and she sorta shares with 17 anyway. I hope the dlc characters include at least one more female character. There isn't a huge amount to choose from with DBZ but Super definitely has a good contender or two.

I imagine as more character DLC hits the roster, Majin Android 21 will get even more abilities to play with (kinda reminds me of how M.O.M. Mode works in GGXrdRev2).

Also, by the looks of things, her Sweet Tooth super seems like it turns certain characters in to specific sweets... much like the gimmick Overdrives GG and BB are known for (it's a throwback to Midnight Bliss from Darkstalkers).
