^If you're telling me they chose Icebreaker over Afterglow that's nuts. Well I mean it's not terrible but it's pretty forgettable.
Haven't and won't listen to the UK entry. Housemates had the UK song choice thing on the TV while I was making food the other day and my ears have been assaulted enough. Ugh UK.

While I'm not really an Eurovision fan, it's always amusing how both my mother and older sister both watch it and then talk about it until it's over for another year.

I know. Though last year it wasn't a real entry...or was it, I can't remember. Guy Sabastion(sorry for the spelling mistake) preformed and that's what made people crazy over.

Australia are mega-super fans of the whole thing, so they were allowed to perform because I think it was the 60th year last year? I'm not surprised they've been allowed to enter again, as there was a real buzz around it the first time.

Romania have been removed from the contest due to a failure to pay fees.

The UK can still apparently enter, even if we leave the EU.
I'd imagine us leaving would leave quite the impact, considering we contribute financially towards the contest every year.
I've also got the week off work when it's on (also for Uncharted 4, yay!), so I'm going to be getting spectacularly drunk during the semis and finals. Are we doing a Skype call again?

Us leaving would have little to no impact IMO, and being in or out the EU has never had an effect on a country's ability to enter the competition. There are four other countries in the "big 5" that are a part of fronting the money for it, and I'd say if one of those 5 left there'd be someone there to replace them or they'd just have a "big 4".
