That's what it involves in my head. We know it at LEAST involves sex, and since sex is usually accompanied by kissing and boobie groping, it's a safe bet that it probably involved those things. Not to mention it'd make it all the moar smexy.

Just saying, did you know my screencap of Cloud holding Tifa's hand I posted last page cause a shipped war in Tumblr? Right after I posted it someone posted a anti-Cloti sentiment against my post in the Cloti tag. What happens after is what you expect XD

How Cloud keeps his promise to Tifa (or moments he tried to)
How serious was Cloud when he made a promise to Tifa? Let’s find out!
Before the promise:
When they were children, Cloud followed Tifa to the deadly paths of Mt. Nibel when all of her friends had backed out in trying to save her. He failed and they both feel from the bridge. Tifa went comatose for days.
AFTER the promise:
1. Cloud joins AVALANCHE at her request.
3. In Crisis Core, Cloud protected Tifa from monsters outside the reactor. He was hurt and had to use Tifa as his human crutch on the way to Nibelheim.
4. Despite the epic mental confusion that Cloud wasn’t in the Nibelheim incident, he was actually there for Tifa and defeated Sephiroth. This scene was featured in four versions: the original, Before Crisis, Last Order and Crisis Core.
5. In the ending of FFVII, Tifa never left Cloud and the ground she was standing on collapsed. Cloud caught her and kept her from falling.
6. A short, two-second scene in the ending has Cloud holding Tifa’s hand to keep her from flying away when the crater exploded.
7.In AC, Cloud was late to protect Tifa from Loz.
8. In ACC, Cloud saves Tifa from being crushed by the debris.

1.In Kingdom Hearts II (non FFVII canon,) Cloud fights Sephiroth to protect Tifa.
2. In Ergheiz (non-canon,) you can only fight Tifa if you were able to defeat Cloud under certain conditions. Tifa’s title is “summoner” and Cloud is “guardian.” Go figure. Note that FFX was already out when this was released.
3. In Dissidia 012 (canon,) Cloud protects Tifa from Sephiroth.
4. Again in Dissidia 012 Cloud fought Chaos alone to end the war for her. He pleads to Cosmos to save her before he dies.

Though I don’t think this is definitive in determining canon, it gives a good hint of things. it’s quite odd if Square Enix just put Tifa in almost all pictures* where Cloud leads his party. The following pictures where taken from various parts of the Final Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary Ultimania and the other ones in the Reminiscence of Final Fantasy VII, a bonus DVD feature of Advent Children that summarizes the events of the original game
*The only picture in the Ultimania where Tifa isn’t present is the Cave of the Gi, Aerith was pictured instead with Red XIII. In the Wutai Pagoda, the other party member is not seen because of the text bubble.

Courtesy of my friend's notes, it’s observable that the three Remnants of Sephiroth, Loz, Yazoo and Kadaj bore resemblance to Tifa, Vincent and Cloud fighting style-wise. It’s stated that the Remnants were born from the battle with Sephiroth. So even if it’s not definitive, it’s hinted that this is the canon party.

I found a short Cloti doujin, I don't know if it's Tifa feeling that Cloud doesn't love her or just an emo moment. All I can understand is that Tifa is saying that she's a "terrible woman" and "sly/cunning" then at the part where she kisses Cloud she sayd "suki" and "daisuki." Dunno.
