With Scarlet's new mecha ride all I see is magitek + sweeper. The basic concept of riding a red, antropomorphic mecha is the same but that's the only similarity I see. In my mind this magitek ride can't possibly be considered a Proud Clod prototype. Everything about it from the design to how it moves in battle is so radically different. I will die on this hill.

Proud Clod with those blades from the magitek-sweeper would be neat, ngl. Or even better: Proud Clod with a giant sword and the sword is called Ragnarok Mark 66 or some such.

Another curious thing is hearing how people pronounce "Ramuh" differently. Lots of people saying "Raama" or "Raemough". Almost nobody pronounces it like I do: "Raamoo".

Another curious thing is hearing how people pronounce "Ramuh" differently. Lots of people saying "Raama" or "Raemough". Almost nobody pronounces it like I do: "Raamoo".

It's that damn English language and its great vowel shift rearing its ugly head. Us non-natives are more likely to approach those vowels like normal people

It is Ram Uh to me until I hear it in-game (unless it's hilariously bad like Ba hay ya moot or whatever the hell nonsense that was in FFXII that is no longer used).

It's the H at the end. It implies a short vowel before it, thus, "raam-uh." If they had localized it as "Ramu" this wouldn't be problem. Just like the baffling "Yuffie" spelling (why not "Yufi?")

It has never occurred to me to ever say it like 'ra-moo'. Is that the correct version?? I assumed it was 'Ra-mah/muh'.

H after vowel means long vowel. If it was Ramu, the u would be short like in 'pudding' or 'put'

It's Raa-Muh. They pronounced his name in FFXV and yes. It's Raam-uh.
