Recently, Vampire Knight has called to me.

Sailor Moon and Revolutionary Girl Utena are also in my collection.

I would like to complete my collection of Magic Knights Rayearth (I need books 1 and/or 2 of the second part MKR II).

Inuyasha is neat.

I would like to try out InuBaka and Fuushigi Yugi (?).

Ah! (or Oh!) My Goddess, too. :)

Perhaps, though I don't like it as much, I will someday finish Angel Sanctuary.

PS: I forgot to add CelesCeres, or what ever that one that is very steeped in myth is supposed to be. I would like to try that someday, too.

Love that series but it scares me just how closely it resembles my life and friends.......

Ergo Proxy. Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto. Death Note. Bleach. Rurouni Kenshin. Skip Beat. etc <- anime and manga, whichever they have.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Gankutsuou are my favorite anime. I haven't seen many episodes of Samurai Champloo, but what I saw I really liked, so that will probably go on my list, too, once I get around to watching it all.

As for manga - MPD Psycho. Probably Death Note, too, even though I've started having trouble taking it seriously anymore thanks to the Internet, haha. I also try to keep up with FMA.

Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star) -

One of the great shonen series of the 80s, and still a popular franchise today. Never been as widely acclaimed in the West as it should be though. The story revolves around a Bruce Lee/Mel Gibson lovechild called Kenshiro who uses a bajillion year-old martial art called Hokuto Shinken that attacks people's pressure points, usually causing splattered brains aplenty.

Despite all the action and violence, the core of the series is the emotion and energy that has been invested into the characters, as Kenshiro challenges twisted forms of love and honour.

I feel like noting that I don't watch anime regularly. If I'm recommended a series, I might look into it, but I really only read manga nowadays.

Michiko and Hatchin, is what I'm currently seeing.
Other than that, the animu this year is not entertaining.

Anime - Gankutsuou[/quote]

I totally agree. I still think it's the most beautifully made anime ever.

Ayakashi/Bakaneko (Mononoke TV series) deserves an honorable mention from me as well I think.

Eh, I don't read much these days. But from what I remember I used to love Blade of the Immortal, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Gantz, MPD: Psycho, Uzumaki, Biomega and Blame. Actually it was The Arab who introduced me (and probably a lot of more people over ACF) to this last two series.

The anime that I currently watc is ToraDora! It's a cutesy shounen anime focusing on these two people trying to help each other confess their love to their respectable crushes.

Sadly I haven't been reading any manga lately. Now I have to go waste some time at Mangafox.com for it is love.

The manga I enjoy is Franken Fran. Horrifying to others, comedic for me no matter how morbid and macabre the nature of the patient and the end result is. I mean she managed to turn a chick into a caterpillar! A FUCKING BUG!!!!!1oneoneone

Also the usual Bleach, One Piece, Naruto trio.

I tried Embalming, Watsuki Nobuhiro's work for more art references. I must say it needs to be completed.

And animu animu... Hurmmm... can't say I watch it now adays.

Right now I'm watching the dubbed Naruto. It's not as great as the japanese version but still solid imo. Naruto to me is DBZs' succesor and is my current favourite anime.
I also like Death Note, Hellsing and the dub version of Cowboy B.
Last manga I've read was Death Note. I'm more of an anime than manga fan.

I try to stick to anime and manga that call to me in some form. Favorite anime is usually the same as manga, though I've seen far less of the anime.

Lately, I've had a desire to try out Vampire Hunter D - the novels are out in English, as well they just started the manga. Also, The Twelve Kingdoms, another series made anime; I first saw the anime (at least two DVD volumes worth, which is equal to the first book.)

I stick to the other post I made here about other manga/anime. I'm still wanting to pick up Inubaka.

Yu Yu Hakusho: It's DBZ with better characters and plots. Plus possibly the best English dub of all time.

Inuyasha: It has its share of haters and yes the manga did drag on too long but the anime was pretty good. Well except for most of the fillers. But it has one of my favorite anime soundtracks and it was one of the first anime I watched.
I still hope they'll finish it up with a few OVAs or whatever. Doubtful but it's still a popular franchise so maybe.

I will always stand by Dragonball as a top series. DB, DBZ, DBS, he'll I even have a (small) soft spot for Dbgt.

I also love Bleach. I think it has a fantastic sense of style in terms of character design and whatnot. I really like Ichigo for not being a standard upbeat goofy shounen protagonist. Those characters are fun, but that sort of guy wouldnt fit as well in a series thats supposed to take place in some version of the real world. Also Shiro Sagisu made a truly amazing score for the series.

I used to love Fairy Tail, but gradually lost interest, although the soundtrack still kicks ass.

One Punch man is fantastic fun, with both excellent action and a strong sense of humor.

Attack On Titan, because holy shit.

And Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, for having a seriously interesting and engaging plot line, and also a great soundtrack.
