Yeah, that one sounds like it could also be a "Dora's domain" for a Zelda gameI absolutely loved this track that plays on the road to Wall Market from Sector 5 during the night time
It seems like you really enjoy the more upbeat type songsAll of it...
Undercity Suns in particular left an impression. It just really conveys that sense of height. I can't wait to play it on one of my mountain hikes. I also love the battle version. It sounds so FFVII to me. I think it has parts of the main melody from the OG, but it sounds more "FFVII" than it "should" for some reason. Unless I'm missing something.
As I mentioned in another thread, Due Recompense, the Oppressed People mix, sent my auditory processing system to the Promised Land, as well as its battle variant, and the more low key/faithful version.
Funk With Me
Collapsed Expressway was pure magic.
I enjoyed all the different variants of the original battle theme and boss theme to keep it fresh, but my favorite is probably the traditional one.
I really liked most of the Jukebox covers. Especially Hip Hop De Chocobo and that remix of the Final Fantasy loading theme.
Speaking of 12, that soundtrack definitely had to grow on me. My pallet of music hadn't grown as much then, as it has nowBorn Survivors ~ Sector C
It's the most Hamauzu Hamauzu can get but it also sounds like something Hashimoto would compose for FFXII (definitely reminds me of a few tracks from that game), it inspires me wonder and excitement for the ongoing adventure. It's probably my favorite of the new tracks, or at least the one I put more on repeat.
I liked it since ever! Hashimoto's unique style just takes me into another world literally.Speaking of 12, that soundtrack definitely had to grow on me. My pallet of music hadn't grown as much then, as it has now
I can picture you riding on top of Airbuster, waving one hand in the air lol "8 seconds! 8 seconds motherfucker!"

Yeah, I'm a big fan of just about all these kind of songs. Even though some of them are sad, when associated with the scenes from the games, I can listen to them all dayDangit this is super good too
Yeah, as much as I like the OG soundtrack, I think this one is better suited for that. It sounds like more than just a videogame soundtrackI heard them all throughout the game and was giddy everytime I recognized an old track. But listening to the soundtrack directly (and with a beer), hot damn it's excellent
I wonder if Jessie's themeis the reflection of who she really is. Wedge telling Cloud that she's just "acting," could mean that she is putting on a front to her true feelings. Which is reflected earlier, when she can't confront her father's situation.
