FF Newbie Plays FF7 Remake

Well shit, here I am. Caught up, more or less. Sorry it took so long.

After admittedly being a little disappointed with the compilation stuff so far (sorry guys!) I am looking forward to seeing how they handle this. I've avoided any spoilers like the plague, but I am aware that there are going to be multiple parts to the remake, and that they're releasing DLC featuring Yuffie. That is all I know. Haven't even played the demo.

Honestly I was expecting you to be more than a little disappointed.

Though it'd make sense if newcomers build up less of a strong opinion on the Compilation works. It's a different experience when you are in the midst of waiting for the titles, get in on the hype and then...accept the mediocre reality.

I'm trying to be nice haha, I know there are people out there who really like CC and DoC.

I kinda like AC though. Even through the absolutely terrible voice acting (a consistent in the compilation) the Remnants, and them making Cloud a whiny turd, there's enough action scenes to keep my simple brain entertained.

Combat actually feels pretty enjoyable.

Not hearing "activating combat mode" every 5 seconds is definitely welcome.
