Can tell I've got better. The boss at the end of chapter 15 gave me a serious run for my money when I played on normal, and I just took it down like it was nothing on hard.

All you need it know is Tifa is the GOD of pressure.

Tifa is so fun I found myself wishing normal enemies had more HP, because even solo-ing Tifa I found I was putting in the work to build their stagger bars and my chi only for them to die before I got to the fun part!

My main complaint is the damn battle cutscene transitions undo all of your excellent work every time you start to get on a roll. =\

I really hope they fix that for the next installment.

Delay the fucking battle phase transitions until after the stagger is complete, SE! If the boss dies before that -- o well, means I got gud!

So, the "Sephiroth" Palmer sees is Marco, who due to Sephiroth's influence, has taken on his form and is acting on his behalf. It's also Marco who turns into Jenova Dreamweaver, as it turns back into Marco following its defeat. Am I there?

Congrats! If you want a special avatar for your platinum trouble you have to email PlayStation in the next day or two, or something, nobody knew about it so we all missed it.

Enjoy FFIX. It is near-impossible to platinum that game, even with a guide (some of the trophies make Tifa’s pull-ups look like baby mode) so don’t even try on your first go.

FFIX is good, but VIII is also worth playing! In some ways I actually prefer it to IX, but it's not as consistent. I wasn't a big fan of FFX, but looking back, that one is also probably worth playing.
