Cait Sith is a Cait Sidhe and his name is pronounced Ket Shee

There was also no Star Wars character names Jesse in 1997. Closest was a Jessica from the Droids cartoon.

Biggs and Wedge are named after minor characters in A New Hope. Never heard about Cait Sith being a Star Wars reference before though.

Because he's not. Wedge was also in Empire and Return and had his own spinoff novels. A lot of them actually.
