FFXIII on X-Box 360 and English VA's

Hmmn, Trailer looks fairly decent, I'll buy it and complete FFXIII but still meh, I think square are going downhill. They've become technology obsessed (I guess they are japs lol) and graphics obsessed, they don't put as much effort into character development or a decent storyline any more.

For FFXII they've basically turned Cloud into a woman and tinted his hair slightly pink, the game itself doesn't sound that appealing to me, the gameplay nor the storyline.

TBH I'm more looking forward to Versus at least Versus looks more interesting storyline-wise, also slate grey hair Cloud looks hot.

It's not so much that Square is going down as much as it's the fact that a lot of the FF team is shifting (iirc). I think SE as a company is doing quite well and has quite a number of promising games lined up for the near future. We'll see what they're offering tomorrow after their press conference.

Also, the dude in FF XIII Versus isn't a grey haired Cloud. Totally different guy that I personally look forward to seeing how he turns out in the final product.

My fav FF games are FFVII then FFX then FFVIII. I guess I'm just disapointed to see the old gamestyle and the bond us players developed with the characters fade away.

Same. Unfortunately, English VAs probs need more time to finish up dubbing the game and some tweaks are still most likely being worked out.

I think he looks like cloud, face shape, hair style, even his choice in clothes are similar to Cloud's in AC.

See, I think it was, though. You were able to see how Yuna handled all that played out at the end of FFX. I personally feel that her personality changes were completely appropriate and thought the game as a whole jived right with its predecessor.

You really can't avoid making similar characters at some point between two different franchises. Besides, most characters usually remind you of at least one other that you've seen in some different show or book or what-have-you. I highly doubt SE ripped anyone in reality. Not saying that I think you believe that, just that's it's nigh impossible.
