I thought Lightning was the one who was designed to be like a female Cloud? Personality wise she's going to be way more kick ass than him though, she looks strong minded and on the ball. I've loved her since I saw her character design, her attire is epic, I nearly bought some boots like hers the other day but they didn't have my size!

I'm buying a PS3 solely for the purpose of playing this, I can't wait.

Not really, since that doesn't show them looking exactly alike. Just because some tit used photoshop and merged their two pictures together using an animation doesn't prove they look exactly alike at all.

Eyes, nose, lips, all look different. The only similarity is the shape of the side of their faces.

Shut up with this stupid comparison shit. She was inspired by Cloud, of course there will be some similarities, but there is no overbearing resemblance between the two.

Lightning and Cloud, physically wise aren't really all that much alike, except maybe having an overall serious expression/demeanor. At most they share the same similarities pretty much all Nomura characters share, design wise. Of course that personality wise, there's probably going to be some similarities since Lightning was inspired by Cloud (as Dacon already pointed up).
