Cait Sith was originally an enemy from II. He appeared in VII, and then all through FFX he appeared as a type of weapon for Lulu. His appearance is "uneven" due to how his forms keep changing in each installment.

I am using logic Tets, you bastard :monster:

Except in FF2, Cait Sith the enemy only appears in the Advance release, so he wouldn't be "born from two". Going by first appearances, Cait Sith is "born four", where he first appeared as the Panther but was called Cait Sith in the Japanese release.

Well I'm going by the original Japanese names since its his original and stuff because in the US we only started with FFIV as "FFII" and that's not the start of the series or anything :monster:

But whatevs, it's not the answer so...

I need to keep thinking...

The whole "born from II" thing keeps me wanting to remember all of the recurring characters from FFII. Is the "2" the FF installment 2, or could it be like..two people/spells/plot points, etc?

Ooooooh, the Squall montage has been posted! I'm sorry, time is up, thanks for playing, but as I promised, here's the answer:

Sephiroth.

"Born from two" - either two parents, or two Mothers.
"Appears in seven" - yes he does.
"Appears through ten" - the Kabbalah Sephiroth are the ten heavily attributes through which God manifests.
"An appearance uneven" - a single wing

Thanks for playing guys. :p

That's just sick. If you would've told us what the "two" was we could've got that. That's just like sick man...misdirection and purposeful confusion.

That's what makes it a riddle! Confusing vague clues you have to decipher! If I told you the two was "two Mothers", you'd know right away!

Gah, you people.....

Fine, try another.

Hint - an object.

I appear in sanctuary,
To reshape an enemy.
I've taken flight,
And been used to fight

It's hilarious, because I was thinking "uneven appearance? What, does he have only one arm or something?"

...how the fuck could I not think of the one-winged mama's boy?

If you hadn't said it had to be an item, I'd say Bahamut from FFV, since he appeared from the sea and all and fits all that other stuff :monster:

The born-from-two was a great riddle. May we have a hint for the new one, please? You can put it in spoiler tags in case the others don't want one yet. :D
