Sorry about the double post, but did anybody else notice that Tifa is actually wearing her gloves in ACC when Cloud finds her in Aerith's church? XD

In AC, she wasn't wearing them for some reason.

...wasn't there a rumor that there would be a clip that took place after DoC a while back? Of course maybe that rumor was in reference to Case of Denzel, because that takes place after DoC.

I think it was stated that the post-DoC clip would be interlaced with the movie itself, in HD-CGI glory.

The only thing I could possibly see relating to that statement would be the scene from the ending, or the scene in the opening with Nanaki and his cubs (the article already stated this wasn't the scene.)

I guess it makes sense, though. It'd take awhile to clean up the Buster Sword and grow flowers like that. A couple of years is reasonable, I guess. : P

In any case, there was one scene that kinda bugged me for some reason. It's when Cloud arrives at Healin/Healen (wtf) and gets off of Fenrir. He walks into the picture and the way his foot and leg enters the camera was somewhat...abrupt. It looked kinda weird.
Now in ACC, it doesn't just suddenly "appear" in front of the camera. So I guess they were kinda bugged by that scene as well.

Buster Sword restoration might take a while but growing those flowers might not. But I guess it depends upon the soil.

I really liked how he seemed to have cleaned it and put it into Aerith's church.

LOLWHUT Marlene as the new hero? Makes me wonder how they'll do that. Maybe she and Denzel will have some sort of promise, Barret will burn down Edge (good luck with that; it's all metal), Tifa will become the new Jenova and marry Genesis for some reason, the final boss will be Cloud in drag and will be called "Blonde-Wigged Angel".

Marlene will be killed by Moogle girl as she summons Aerith to save the Planet, and Denzel will be using a stick as a weapon. Nanaki and Vincent will be part of the party. Sephiroth will be an optional character, recruitable by swimming through the Lifestream.








I'll shut up now.



PS @ spoiler: It worked. They're not just random kids living with Cloud and Tifa anymore. They actually seem like they mean a lot to each other.

One thing I both like and dislike in ACC is this;
the fact that Zack states Cloud never made it into SOLDIER. In the original AC it was never clearly stated; thus those attracted to the original game because of the movie could enjoy the surprises in FFVII much more.
So I dislike that, for the sake of the new viewers, but I like it because it makes me feel closer to the game when watching the movie.

We know of course that nothing keeps people from playing Crisis Core before anything else, and so most will be spoiled that way (though a few will try to interpret Cloud's lies in FFVII Obiwan-Kenobi style, thinking that Cloud just uses a 'certain point of view').

And a movie focused on Cloud feeling guilt over the deaths of Zack and Aerith and being haunted by the memories of his rival Sephiroth whom he killed doesn't seem like its much for secrets.

Just further supports the fact that people who watch AC before they play the original game miss out.

I can't believe I forgot about the Aerith and Zack part... And the english dub seems to make it clear indeed. I wonder what the translation of the japanese line is, the one I read was "That's what I/they used to call me". I may be wrong in assuming that the japanese line is more ambiguous.
