^And even Tidus gets a snarky reply from Seymour in-battle. But all Wakka gets is the old "... ... ..."

Just to add a little insult to injury :monster:

Nothing burns more than Lulu saying "we haven't even left the island" if you die in a random encounter at the start of the game XD. That's the most pointed "YOU ARE SHIT" to the player ever XD.

I have never had reflect before I got to this fight.

I have never had the majority of those spells before I got to this fight. Wow.

That is what happens when you spend hours killing sinspawn before reaching Kilika.

On one of my PS2 run I had Auron hitting at 3000+ when fighting Evrae.

Remembering back to the first time I played the game, I'm pretty sure I got stuck on Evrae for a good while. The airship one. Hastega helps soooooooo much.

Double Growth
Yeah I was stuck on Evrae for quite awhile in my first playthrough. I haven't had too much trouble since because I'm always bracing for him.

Wakka @ 2:25 - "Whoops, wrong way"

(Ashamed of myself for all this putting down of Wakka lately. Really like the guy a lot)

Man I wonder if I mentioned I am going through this game right now?

Well if not, then I am on my blind first play though.

Really enjoy it so far, the sphere grid is different, and a lot like the LP system from 12 but all attributes are upgraded from it. Characters are awesome, and the story is pretty good so far.

Current in the Via Pacifico with Yuna, and Bahamut. The game has been pretty linear so far, and I hope there are some side quests to be done soon. Also I noticed weapons don't have stats associated with them like the other FF games.

I'd have to go back in this thread to see if I had trouble with it when I first played the HD Remaster but I remember thinking people having trouble with it was weird when I was younger (at least compared to the lightning thing) - but later realised it's because it ran slower on PAL so it was very slightly easier. I think.

I remember playing the pal version then the j-ntsc one and it was like the pal characters were walking on the moon or something

^Damn Wakka owned with that overdrive. I'm still on Elemental Reals and could go and fight Sin at this point in the game.

Actually first of, FUCK LADY YUNALESCA, fuck that boss and it's zombie status, etc. But after I beat (which I had to redo it after the realization I missed the sun crest after accidentally exiting the area) that I got the sun crest and because I had the sun sigil already I went and got Tidus ultimate weapons. To which I must say doesn't hit hard because my characters are just now completing their own sphere grids sections and haven't broken into anyone else's. Expect Auron who's in Tidus, because Auron should be faster with how hard he hits.

After that I went and got Yojimbo, who is pretty cool. I need to open the chest in Zanarkand trials to get anima. Speaking of which I went back to Baaj temple and wreaked that boss. Who dropped a No Encounter ball for Wakka. Then discovered all the hidden locations.

I've been trying to set myself up to farm the Don Tornberry with the AP trick, but I'm still confused on how to get the triple AP weapons and Overdrive---->AP.

Any boss who makes healing----->damage is a bitch. *Cough*Dr.Luege*Cough*.

Now I've beaten the game, haven't done everything yet, and I'll get back to it later. I managed to get Tidus, Yuna, and Auron up using the OD---->AP and then killing One Eye for Triple AP and putting OD----->Ap on that. Still can't find where to get Triple Overdrive, but I'll figure it out.

Started X-2 and it's a lot different with the combat system, which threw me for a loop. However the nice little %completion is nice if it ends up covering everything in the game.

It doesn't, you can actually get 100% before you've done everything there is to do.

Higher Further Faster
Don't try to get 100% in one go, though. Any walkthrough that claims to do that is a bold-faced lie.

Well no it's not, you can get 100% in a single playthrough by following one of the GameFAQs guides XD. I did it on my run of the HD remaster.
