We aren't really shown anything in FFXIII about what happened with all the main characters before the 13 days Fang and Vanille were awake. I got the idea from the way Serah and Snow act around each other that they've know each other for a lot longer then two weeks. Also, Snow has a reputation with Lightning that couldn't have formed over just two weeks.

I heard that Georgia van Cuylenburg stated her character, Vanille, will make a comeback in XIII-2. I'm trying to authenticate this, but until then - if true, I'm sure Fang and Sazh are coming back as well. We just haven't seen them yet.

I can't speak for my friend, but I get the point of them not knowing each other for too long, be it two weeks before the events of FFXIII, or longer than that. I always had the impression that Snow and Serah were sharing a summer romance.

About Snow's reputation with Lightning, it's not necessary that he was dating her sister to know about him because NORA had a story with the Guardian Corps already, despite Lightning feigning not knowing them.

But these are just conjectures, since SE will reveal the real reason why they haven't married at the end of the game.

It's said in the novella that Lightning has known of their relationship for a while and disapproved of it, but she didn't actually get to meet Snow until about two weeks before the game starts.

Would be quite retarded even for Snow standards to propose after only 11 days.

Lightning's weapon is okay. But Noel's and the purple dude's weapon are beyond ridiculous. They look more like decorative weapons than anything else. FF swords are usually ridiculous but at least look like they are still meant for combat.

These two swords just have lots of stupid swirly fancy bullshit attached to them.

On September 15, Japanese TV station, BS11, will be airing a special FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 related broadcast. The broadcast will be airing the program from 20:00 to 20:30. A brand new FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 trailer will also see its debut! Special guest, Sazh Katzroy (Masashi Ebara), will be in attendance!

Square-Enix has already promised that their TGS videos will hit the web. If there is some BB11 streams coming on 15th September, we will hit you guys up and send links that you can follow the show too!
