Following on from this, I'm guessing someone is going to be streaming, so that could be articled and drawn attention to. Also, you guys could compile the immediate thoughts within the new Spoiler thread into a kind of 'First Impressions' article.

So, I have a really stupid problem that a lot of people are going to give me titty twisters for debating.

So delivery has said Wednesday since it shipped, then I just got a notification saying it had been delivered, so I have it in my hands! Woo!! Early game!
...But, I uh, I've been listening to rhe soundtrack for Moana all morning aaaannd... If I play FFXV then I have to stop... Lol

The online status of mine still says "Preparing Order" which sucks major balls but SE tweeted this:

I've no clue whether I'll actually get it tomorrow or not; the shop I ordered it at usually only sends emails when they ship it, which is like, middle of the night or early morning. (they have "order before 10, get it delivered next day". Then again you could drive anywhere in my country within 3 hours so it's probably not as challenging as e.g. the UK or US :monster: ).

I did get an email with a code for some DLC stuff already though.

Says "preparing for shipment," here. How 2-day shipping preparing this late the day before is supposed to also be release date delivery I don't know. Unless it's being shipped from across the street, but we'll see...

It's likely the problem I mentioned extends beyond Europe, in that case.

For anyone tempted to read but unsure, Kotaku's review is spoiler-free as far as I can tell. (I know that's different from a desire to go in fresh, but in case you were on a middle ground there).

Could you elaborate on that evaluation? Is an 86 on Metacritic for a contemporary video game (or JRPG) more positively significant than a higher rating for an (JRPG) older game? (i.e. reviewers are more critical with games general today which is why the PS2 FFX has a 92 while the HD Remaster ranges 83-86?)

My steelbook of Brotherhood and the music CD came with slight scratches. Not sure if the damage came from this bit of plastic that was loose in the box, or because it slid out of my lap and got scratched when I grabbed it to stop it from hitting the floor completely. (I mean, I was sitting on the floor the whole time...)

Not sure if I should let this bother me or if I want to cry because of the scratches.
