First Image of Limited edition FFVII AC PS3

Square-Enix has revealed the first image of the limited edition Final Fantasy VII PS3. Pictured on the right, you'll see the Final Fantasy VII style PS3. Dubbed 'Cloud Black', this PS3 will come individually numbered and packaged with a Blu-ray version of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete. Of course, the real appeal of getting Advent Children Complete on Blu-ray is the Final Fantasy XIII demo. Oddly enough, Advent Children will have the option of English voices, but it'll lack the option for English subtitles if watching in Japanese.

The Cloud Black PS3 will come with a 160GB HDD and release on April 16th for 49,980 yen ($550 give or take a bit). No word on an oversea release, though.

I was kind of expecting a new illustration or something other than the cloudy wolf - I agree that the meteor logo would've been better. It still looks nice, though.

....The Fenrir is Cloud's motif in Advent Children. That's why they put it on the Advent Children PS3. You think they just put a random wolf on an Advent Children themed PS3?

I think they should make it so when you put ACC in the Cloudy Wolf PS3, it performs Omnislash on the other consoles that you have around it.

Personally, I'd like to find a piece of FFVII merchandise that DOESN'T have that logo on it. They have pins, messenger bags, scarves, sooo0o0o0o0o0oo many different kinds of posters and wall scrolls. FFVII merchandise is mainly dominated now because of AC and the Fenrir symbol. I want some variety. D;

Probly get one anyway because I don't have a PS3 yet.

Have people forgotten the damn FFVII 10th Anniversary PSP with the Meteor Logo on it? Or the Dirge of Cerberus special edition box set that had Cerberus? Or the SOLDIER crap with the SOLDIER logo and LOVELESS cover?

Seriously. The only thing Fenrir is on is the stuff that has to do with Cloud like...the jewelery. And there's just as much Vincent and Sephiroth stuff too.
