* Still no clue what the wolf is supposed to be. Or I've missed the discussion on that area back on ACF, which is quite likely,
.
* Also, they've added a chocobo to ACC. A wood-carved one, but still,
. Yes I know that was there back at the start of the movie, stfu.
* The movements of the kids in the truck does not correspond to that of the truck itself. They should fix that in AC Über Complete, lolz
.
* Did Tifa have earrings in the original? Don't remember 'em, guess they added 'em. Not very practical, mind.
* They added tidbits and whatnot in Cloud's fight with the SHM, which (imho) makes the fight better to follow. Slowed things down here and there, added some flashes, etc. Just.
* Is it me or did they rewrite Cloud / Vin's entire conversation? Dunno, lol.
* It's made a lot more obvious that Kadaj is (some form of) Seph in the conversation with Rufus, which makes the intro of Seph late on in the movie less like a 'zomg a random final uber-boss appears!'-moment.
* They should've made the music louder in the bit where Bahamut appears, doesn't do the epicness of the track any justice this way when it's overshadowed by the sound effects.
* Just saw the Bahamut fight with my roomies, one of them who has played FFVII back in the day but (obviously) doesn't remember much. If there's subs available tomorrow and if I can get it onto a DVD tomorrow, I might show it to the both of them. Except that he's the type that always goes 'omg wuts dat' during a movie, which is asdf.
* lulz, mounted guns on the SHM's bikes.
* Elena's hawt btw.
cba to list the rest, too much awesome.
* The blood isn't as bad as people have made it out to be. Goan watch Hellsing, and nothing will be gory enough again, lol
. It's over nine thousaaand times more than the original, okay, but still.
* In the final titling, they have a 'croud simulation artist', lolz
. Terrible mistake there. By the way, why did they do all the texts about the creators in Engrish?
* Hawaii driving scene / titling is just, and they've got a load of other scenes than they did in the original thar. It's most likely an experiment on how / if they can add realistic looking CG to real footage, but they've done a good job with it.
* The flowers after the credits look 100% real. Most realistic ones evar. Might also have to do with the Hawaii scene just before though.
Phew. Very good movie, better than the original, and certainly worth the extra effort they've put into it. This'll probably be the first movie I'll get / watch if / when I get the funds and arsedness to get a proper HD system.
Edit: Also, the imagery and screenshots really point out details that you'd usually not see. Seph unfolding his wing is like a two-frame scene or something, yet it was caught on screens. Same with Dacon's post above.
...okay, maybe not two frames, but it's fast enough for people that aren't watching it frame by frame or for the first time to not be noticed.
