I thought the blue circle you used as a clue was referencing Shiva materia since in the Compilation not all summon materia are red. Shiva was blue in Before Crisis.

yea I've been trying to be less explicit with the hints LOL. Might have to come to hints only when you've got three strikes???

It certainly would make wrong guesses more risky. Go for it. That sounds fun.
I don't think you need to change your hints though. To be honest, they're not easy or explicit lol. Given how massive the lore and potential sources of Final Fantasy you're drawing from, I think a hint is needed to have a chance.

So, simple hints (but not like... SO simple that it's impossible lmao maybe that 'spira' hint was an ass move LMAO) and double strikes for wrong guesses.
Hahahaha, you'd think that dialogue would be harder, but I've actually found it to be a lot easier in my experience, because the amount of words and different words increases the likelihood of a letter that you guess landing somewhere, so you can spout things out without penalty in most cases lmao. And eventually, you figure obvious ones out ( like stating E to finish T H _ ) and it just alllll comes together soon enough 9/10. It's the really short shit that's difficult!
