Thank you all for the Birthday wishes, and anyone else who may wish me a happy Birthday after this post.
Quite frankly I don't feel any different dispute being officially an adult now.
And you'll never truly feel any different. In your thirties you'll probably still be like "I don't know what the hell I'm doing, I still feel like a kid". That's how it is for most people, I think.
The thing is, there is no sudden transformation into feeling like an "adult". You'll just slowly accumulate experiences and learn stuff as you get older. You may not feel like you've changed but I liken it to seeing your face in the mirror everyday.
To you it's always the same face because the changes happen so gradually that you don't really notice any changes and it's only when you look back at old pictures of you that you'll go "holy crap, I look so different!"
That's kinda how I feel in regards to adulthood. I still feel like I'm a teenager/kid at heart but when I think about what I was really like a decade ago or so I realize I actually did grow up quite a bit.
Uh, I got a bit rambly there. Also, happy belated birthday.
