I would be OK with that, but if I see one Cup Noodles so help me...
I've seen some people laugh at this scene (because of the outdated graphics) and it breaks my heart.I had just remembered the scene where Cloud is in a wheelchair and Tifa stays beside him to help. For some reason, that turned out to be the most emotional moment for me in the game. I had already felt bad enough seeing blocky, LEGO looking Cloud in a wheelchair. I don't even want to know how awful I'll feel seeing a realistic looking Cloud in that scenario...
I agree, a realistic rendition of the event would be a strong gut-punch. More than seeing Cloud wheelchair-bound, it's really seeing him into a vegetative state that would be blood-chilling, IMO. You thought your hero was a badass, but now he needs to be fed through a tube and have someone take care of his diapers *shudders*I had just remembered the scene where Cloud is in a wheelchair and Tifa stays beside him to help. In the OG, wasn't Marlene left to tend to the 7th Heaven bar all by herself before the Sector 5 bombing run? Wonder if little goofy stuff like this will still work now that the game isn't so cartoonish in style.
My goodness this conversation comes up a lot. She was left at the bar but not tending it. It was closed.
Johnny was leaving home during this part of the original game. It's why he ends up surviving the plate fall.^This! And for the Remake, Tifa could still be saying the same to Marlene as in the OG, but in reality, Johnny will be the one who's taking over business. This could be something that's already routine for them.
