Well this is the most recent thing I've finished / half-assed.
Don't know what to do next. I haven't really been feeling motivated. Whenever I DO start something, I go overboard like with Terra here; way too much crap going on with all the details.
At least...I think I'm getting a little bit better with hands and ears.

Sorry for the double post, but hey, I haven't posted in like 57 years! 
I started doodling Red XIII last night to break the monotony of my Jenova painting. I used Hydrus W/Cs for a solid red wash and I'm currently using sharpies to add details.
I used a lioness's face as a reference and then did some kind of a shite job at inventing a dog/cat ear/head/body.
Here is my current progress on the Jenova paintingthat I mentioned. It's far from done and I *sort* of ruined it yesterday but I'm dead set on finishing it soon.
I'm open for requests, but bear in mind that I'm a terrible procrastinator.

There really isn't enough Joe art.

I have seen some of Amano's spontaneous drawings that were filmed during conventions and whatnot. He really just has the images all in his head. I've never seen him plan anything out.

I became really overwhelmed with all of the different things I was working on, so I took a deeeeep breath, a fresh sheet of paper, and just let it flow. 8|
Also, lemme just say how awesome this paper is. I bought a few sheets of it a couple years back, and I thought it would have lost it's sizing by now, but its just so amazing at withstanding heavy washes. Still good as new.
