I'm so fucking stoked about my new tablet!!!!!!!!!! It's just like oil painting!!!

I used my own eye as a reference.

^Looks awesome. What tablet did you get? (I still havent unpacked mine from the move )

I like tablets, but I'm still not 100% great at using them, its almost like learning to draw all over again.

Wacom intuos 4. I've never used a tablet before but I gather that I made the right choice. The surface is rough like paper, so it's easy to transition. I had fears about tablet drawing because I thought I'd be drawing on a slick surface.

Getting laid off was one of the best things that could've happened to me. I have all the time in the world to draw pictures of the Virgin Mary and pawn them off to local restaurants. I can do this. I can really do this. I CAN DO IT!!!!

Anyway, today there's this thing I'm working on:

Meh. I'm not satisfied, but at least I'm getting my practice hours in.

The third one (Gina from SaGa Frontier) needs a nose job the most out of all of these. I think I'll be able to fix it. Noses are my least favorite subject matter, right next to hands and feet.

Damn Howl, I love how you've got such a distinctive style and amazing attention to detail. Plus like If I was doing that, with watercolours, I guarantee it would end up all smudged and murky and/or the original lines of the piece would be lost. I'm in awe here.

That could be a particularly s(m)ellable piece of (f)art. It looks quite (st)inky . Okay, I'll stop. Tried selling? Had any success? Half the trouble is finding a market, but I could imagine seeing your style being bought.

Howl I love your art, I was looking at your Deviantart page and just loving it <3

I'm sure I've said it before but your style imo is very Indonesian, I think that's why I like it cos it reminds me of a country I really love. Do you have a style that you can put a name to? Or is it just what flows?
