The original is in my top 5 favorite movies easily... I can't believe they're FINALLY making a sequel and it looks awesome. And I know these movies are kinda corny but we love them cause shit blows up and it's all firey and cool looking

Just got back from seeing it. Pretty awesome, far better then Jurassic World, not quite as good as Force Unleashed, though a bit less of a rethread then that movie, if only because A New Hope already had an Obi-Wan, where in this franchise we went from 0 to 3+.

I enjoyed it alright. I kinda missed that we don't spend more time in the areas of devastation and the ticking clock makes everything seem a little bit less anxious than it would if it were more of a siege like before. I also kinda wish that everyone's little story vignettes were a TINY bit more interconnected, but overall I'm quite satisfied and I really love the world building in having an Earth that didn't just sail on no different for the events that came before, and if they continue it'll get into some TRULY crazy territory.
