Another chapter in "Weird Midgar Inconsistencies". Everybody loves those, right?

I noticed they didn't update the background for sector 7 at night

The new background during the day seems to have some kind of moveable crane attached to the underside of the plate, this is missing in the night version of the bg.
Also, the plate has some weird black outline which I assume is a weird transparency issue.

This is why I keep my eyes on the ground during those slum chapters and pretend the skyboxes are correct. Might find a dropped item along the way too.

I'm looking forward to part 2 where it's just open skies and therefore no inconsistencies for my brain to get caught up on.

I'm not surprised the photo mode movement is a little limited, given how the environments are designed.

but god dang this upgrade makes the game look so good, i am tempted to do a replay just to take pictures.

If you get to the top of Stargazer Heights, you can actually see outside the map's boundaries a bit
