Would anyone have any major problems with it if we assigned Meteo / Logan to the section? He's a strong candidate amongst staff and doesn't have a 'criminal record' on here, and also seems experienced in the area.

Would you guys be okay if we made a poll with a list of candidates and listed what reasons that rule in favor and/or against those candidates?

Also, considering what the majority of Staff thought on the matter, Bex and Channy never had a shot to begin with.

For the record, I'm not / wasn't a fan of it either, but eh, it's tricky (read: nigh-on impossible) to keep everyone happy.

I'm off to bed, feel free to arrange stuff tonight if there's anyone on with admin rights. Just note that I don't want any drama to come out of this - the RP leader is merely an 'organizer', won't be given mod rights (at least not outside the section), and if you disagree with the choice, please be civil about it and whatnot. If whoever sucks does a bad job, he/she will be given a chance to sort things out, if that fails too, he/she will be replaced.

And if the whole RP section sucks, it'll be shut down, but I'm sure you can understand that, .

Meteo knows a relative amount about rping and tbh he's better than having one of the others who seem to know shit.
All in all your still getting the chance to help with the rules and if your really just bothered about getting the section up so you can rp then there isn't a problem.

I already posted the rules there, just the two subsections should be added. I'm not sure if we should hold off on the RPB section for now or add it right away.

Alright, I'll start off first by emphasizing full cooperation among all interested in RPers. The past is the past, and that is where it should stay. I harbor no animosity and hold no personal grudges or vendettas against a single member here. I accepted this proposition and appointment as part of a fresh start I was never even planning to make until recently. I'm certainly not going to be strict about much of anything; this is a group effort, and I acknowledge the skills of many RPers here who I'm hoping to work together with to make this RP section a successful one. Questions, comments, suggestions, advice, etc. are all welcome and will all be taken into serious consideration as I labor to organize the section and subsections therein. Any and all contributions will be fully recognized and accredited.

I'd rather everyone not see me as an authoritative figure, just a fellow RPer tasked with developing this new section. I also wouldn't mind a co-moderator or two if staff deem it necessary, and I will make suggestions to that end as the RP section grows with time. We already have a solid base of enthusiastic veterans and novices alike so I'm expecting great things. Feel free to contact me however you feel to discuss whatever is on your mind concerning the section. If you see me on msn, chances are I'm readily available and open to communication.

I've already seen plenty of useful and valid suggestions thus far so I'll get to work on setting things up accordingly. I realize a lot is expected of me so if you think I've overlooked anything please let me know and I'll tackle it immediately or at the first available opportunity I have. I thank staff for giving me this chance and accept it with deep humility.
