Not sure it'd be worth it TBH m'dear, we're fifteen minutes walk from Leicester Square IIRC and there's plenty of stuff in the area and at the hotel. Other than Friday night, I don't know how much out and about we're doing anyway; I still need lots of sleep (but it's nearly half twelve as I type, lol).

If you have a contactless debit card, it can function entirely the same as an oyster card (discounted rate) and you just tap it through the train barriers and at bus counters.

I threw my Oyster out a while ago. My contactless debit card is my true homeslice.

I still have my Oyster card because for some reason I keep coming back to London.

I should still have one of those too, IDK if it's valid though. I'll be coming in from one of the airports, will it work for that trip?

I was thinking of just taking the Airport Express train, you in on that? Don't know what the options are. Probably SlowTrain or a bus.

@Yop: Depends on the airport. Heathrow, yes, if you take the Piccadilly line to central London, which is a lot cheaper than Heathrow Express or Connect. City, yes, but it's very unlikely you'll be flying there. Everywhere else (Gatwick/Stansted/Luton/Oxford), no, you'll need a paper ticket to get into London.

Still can't quite believe Oxford airport is now "London Oxford"...
