Newark Posse; don't know if anyone's thought off this yet but this Lith has an idea.

Since the doors for KupoCon close at 6pm, what do ya'll say we all find a restaurant and go out to eat afterwards, maybe get a little buzz going before we come back at 8 for the evening event? (For those attending the evening event that is.)

I know Red probably won't be able to go because he'll be busy setting up for the next KupoCon shindig, but I figure going out to eat as a group after a long day at the hotel would be awesome. We can change into some more comfy clothes or whatnot, go out to eat for a little bit, come back and get the party started!

Lemme know what you's guys think.

Yup. From around 18:00-20:00 we will be rearranging the room, clearing away all the previous stuff, and setting up for the evening event. Because so many people will be staying at the hotel, we've decided it best to keep the evening event in the same venue. With that, it gives people a good chance to get a proper bite to eat (honestly, there's so much you could miss leaving the main floor to get dinner or somethin') and refresh themselves and whatnot.

We can sort out the details when everyone gets into town. I'm sure there's a restaurant close to the Best Western that can accommodate our group and our shenanigans.

An update on Carlie and I; the weather was finally good enough to go out into the city and enjoy ourselves, so we wrangled up Jamie (Cait Sith) and hit the town. We got turned around a few times while walking around, but we managed to hit up part of Central Park, the Disney Store in Times Square, and after a lot of walking we ended up in Bryant Park to go ice skating, which nearly turned out to be a bust because Carlie and I got into a tussle while she was holding my arm, and I ended up falling on top of her, which we started laughing uproariously about until we realized Carlie had sprained her ankle. Then we felt bad. But only for like 10 minutes because we're assholes.

Dude I know I can be a dick, but I'm not THAT much of a dick. Of course I'm helping Carlie out. Shit, I offered to piggyback her all the way to the station, but But it's hilarious that bring up those songs, because when we finally left the rink to go catch the subway (riiiiiiide ze shubway?) I put my arm around her to walk her out and started singing 'Lean on Me' lol. Stand By Me was considered, but I went for the former.

So it's looking like I won't have my Cerberus for the event. Micah wasn't able to get it made yet, and unless a miracle happens between now and Sunday, it just looks like I won't have it. However, I have everything else done for my cosplay, and I just did a successful makeup test today, so that's pretty cool.
