Dune Part 2
I don’t actually watch very many movies these days tbh. I prefer to read or game in my free time.

Civil War (2024)... (ie: not the Marvel one)
I couldn't immerse myself in the film. It all just was fake-looking, like the various sets pieces looked like super clean sets. $50 million dollars to make this film? Where did the money go!? Kirsten Dunst?. Poorly written also. Trying to think what I liked about the film, and I can't. I think I am liking my head canon of the movie more than the movie itself now. 1.5/5 stars
.
had a nice time with this movie, watched on cinema.Speed Racer (2008)
I have a pretty poor memory of the cartoon, which I watched back in the... early 90s, if not earlier, and I decided not to watch the original theatrical release. I think it was on around the same time as the Iron Man movie, and if it was at the same time, I chose Iron Man to watch in the cinema instead. My thoughts are the same then as they are now: I don't think it is a good film to watch at the cinema. I think it isn't actually a bad movie though. That is besides the CGI being really poor quality. I think they were clearly going for a cartoony aesthetic, but I think they could have done better. With that said, the CGI did not actually distract me too much from the film. I haven't done much research on the film itself. The story seemed pretty straight forward with references to the cartoon, etc, which I recognised. I think it is an easy 3.2/5 stars at least.
Nothing is "important" per se. I'm not really keeping track of the MCU myself. I'll watch an MCU movie, and my friend and I, during the credits, will try to remember which movie the characters have been in and we often fail to recall, as it all blurs together, surely not helped by the grey blacksHow much of the stuff they did after Avengers is Important before watching this one?
