That was fun. I got to see the Snow scenes at the end of the Yusnaan quest, some Vanille, and the Fang stuff. There is still more to come with Vanille though I think.

It saves when you've ended the stream. As long as it's one single take, there is no way to navigate back as it's going on. Or, well, videos are save in 30 minutes at the time so there should be a way to find the flash-file. ...hold on. Edit: Nah couldn't figure it out. I'd look for someone who has actually stopped their stream for a minute. Edit2: Those menu sounds are giving me extreme tingles and flashbacks <3

Am all stiff from cramping on couch. Had some kind of odd nap. Maybe two hours odd sleep? Had coffeee late last night/early morning. Am on another cup of coffee and porridge just now. This is hilarious by the way. Like Splint said everything is huge ... holy cow the areas are huuge. The player I'm watching seems to keep getting lost or something or maybe just wants to explore everything thoroughly but seriously, first it was this freaking maze in the Dead Dunes, then a forest in the Wildlands, and I just, it was like a neverending forest, good time for taking your nap or making your sammich or whatever. Then it's hilarious because there is so much to explore/get lost in and all these sidequests but very occasionally the player stumbles across a plot point. When this happens leta gets excited, everyone in chat gets all excited, I get excited ... plot thing lasts five seconds or something and everyone is like *facepalm* Kind of an exaggeration but yeah the plot scenes seem so short compared to the hours of everything going through to get to them

Widlands finished with a Caius fight in Valhalla. Odin is the white Chocobo as already noted. Sazh is over 30 so he gets no sceentime.

Oh and she gets Caius's sword.

I'm not a fan of how it just seems to be more disjointed chapters of stories rather than one big epic quest but eh.

So, is Caius dead? His sword is connected to him, so if it's still there, I wouldn't think he's dead. Hard to picture him parting with it, though.

Yeah I'm confused about what happened during that part. Valhalla was quite trippy. Lots of Yeuls. People were saying some (one?) of the Yeuls wanted Light to save Caius, others didn't. After the Cauis boss battle Cauis seemed to be reunited with a Yeul (who was maybe his Yeul/Paddra Nsu/the original), then he kind of just strolled off, disappeared and Lightning got his sword

Valhalla was a wreck though and all those Yeuls were leaking chaos. GJ Cauis

Edit: Sazh main quest complete! Wow those Sazh/Dajh/chicibo scenes ... Daaawww. So much cute. Also was sad in that happy sad way. Tears of happiness ;_; Sazh was like ;_; Dajh was like daddy and oh my god, the cute.

Edit 2 - Talking cat. This game.

Some people were saying stuff about Noel and cats earlier but I thought they were kidding. Talking cat really is a thing though.

to be fair, it's near impossible to figure out the details of the plot without knowing the language. But it feels like these are self contained chapters about each character, where the conflict and resolution are introduced and then resolved.

Lumina reveals to Lightning the following:
Upon the conclusion of XIII-2 when Lightning enters crystal stasis, she contains within her heart Serah's soul. Its just that upon being awakened 500 years later Bhuny confiscates Lightning's heart and with it Serah's soul unbeknownst to her. He then agrees to rescue Serah/her soul so long as Lightning does as he says.
The most interesting reveal regards the Hope in the arc.
Apparently he isn't really Hope that we've come to know and love. He may be some incarnation of Bhuny attempting to manipulate Lightning. Some users on the neogaf forum who are currently playing through the game have noted that his demeanor and conduct is out of ordinary and it apparently becomes obvious as the game progresses that there is something amiss about this "Hope"
Some have noted that Hope's outfit change provides a clue to his identity change. I think interestingly enough the checkered pattern on his scarf is a motif seen in Luxerion and also part of Bhuny's character design.
The users who provided this information also states that Lumina may or may not be a reliable source as she herself could be trying to manipulate Lightning.

The CG scenes have also leaked and are floating around on the net.

Okay so... some people like it but this happens to be a personal distaste for me, I have this hatred of "being reborn into the real world" trope. I really am sad that they had to reboot the entire world instead of saving it. But it's to be expected I guess.

I don't find this surprising at all. I even imagined it.

I prefer this than some ending where Lightning sacrifices herself or becomes a god herself as some were speculating. I think she's in France for Serah and Snow's wedding according to someone on tumblr who has uploaded videos, not sure how accurate this information is

Also Noel/Yeul so cute.

I'm also fine with the ending for Snow/Serah. People have been going on about them not kissing, or hugging, or whatever but they don't have to. They are still in love, that much is still obvious, and they are comfortable in each other's presence, and clearly trust each other just to get on with things. Besides I think Serah reached out to Snow after the bit with Mog anyway I felt the same about FFXIII-2 too, they didn't have to be together and eating face all the time for me to know Serah trusted Snow explicitly and vice versa, they loved each other that much and had faith and belief in each other. Besides they already had a face eating scene in FFXIII anyway Time for the other pairings to take the spotlights

I'm really happy and thankful for the ending. I prefer it more than XIII's, even. Also Lightning in casual clothes is so freaking cute.

Top moments for me from what I've seen so far:

- Snow/Light scene. Damn. It was so emotional I thought my heart was gonna rip in half. Definitely one of my most favorite moments in the series.

- Lightning's performance in Yusnaan. She was dancing beautifully and the whole scene was fantastic.

- Lightning being painfully cute and adorable around the moogles, omg.

The more I think about the ending, the more under my skin it gets.

That said, I'm watching the final boss fight and it's pretty amazing looking. This game definitely racked the difficulty up. Apparently everyone in the Japanese forums are complaining that it's too hard.

I also just watched the final battle. Holy shit, Bhunivelze. It's even creepier that he shares his voice with Hope. Damn.

Bhunivelze has 4 forms and has about 10 (not sure) powerful special attacks. Aside from normal ones which is specific to each form.
