Kate needs to stop being a self-centred betch, tbh.

And no moar love triangle/quadrangle angst. Seriously, Lost is at its worst when it's doing soap opera romance crap.

That's all I can think of for now.

Holy shit yes. That crap kills me. I'm so freaking sick of Kate's bullshit too. Goddamn everything is about her all the damn time.

Also, Juliet's actor is least as a cast member for the next season, not a guest star,so hopefully that means something.

Above all else I want to know more about the lore and history of island. I want to know exactly what that thing is.

Maybe they can release a companion book with the show when it's done divulging more of the secrets they can't get to in the final season.

They said they're not going to reveal exactly what the island is because that would be like revealing what exactly the Force is, but I do get the impression they're going to explain a lot more of its history this season. With two-hundred-year-plus-old characters it's pretty much inevitable that flashbacks from them are going to explain a lot of the gaps we haven't seen filled in yet.

And yeah, an official Lost companion book would be EPIC.

Yeah well, I got no problem with flashbacks when they're about something I'm really interested in :monster:
And I know man, but damnit, I still want to know what that damn thing is.

A companion book would be a great way for them to make some more moolah too.

Yeah same here, actually the flashback structure of Lost is something I've loved from the very beginning.

I suspect we'll get tantalising hints about why the island has its special powers but I doubt we'll get the full story. I expect a lot of what we thought was special powers of the island is going to turn out to have been either Jacob or Esau.

And yeah, 'twould.

I love that your post doesn't mention Jack. Show needs less Jack imo. He's at his best when he isn't being overused to buggery.

^this. He was supposed to die in the pilot of season 1, but the bastards kept him, :@. Seriously, he irks me. As does that other fellow, Daniel. Both play their roles mainly by staring blankly and trying to look confused or something, especially Daniel, only he speaks as well in that way. Barbecue. Locke's gone that way too over time - he was win in the first season though.

But yeah, I dunno why they've basically slid him forward as the main character in the first season. At least, that's the impression I got.

Glad they killed what's-his-face and what's-her-boobsize back in season 3 though. Most hated newcomers evar, and pwned badly.

On the talk of a companion book, I'm sure that a lot of the people that don't have an attention span of five years and more would appreciate a book that lists all the known facts and such that was taken from the series.

I got up to episode 9, do I get cookies now? :monster:

The storyline is starting to make sense and become concrete again, imo and luckily.

My dad has been saying that
Charlie wasn't really dead for years. I can't say I'd be surprised if at least he comes back to the show full time, we never actually saw the body
.

Sooo, I just watched episode 10 and 11 of the last series, and I've got a few questions / possible inconsistencies. Don't answer 'em if they'll be explained later on, :monster:.

So, first off, that Chinese fellow that sees dead people was explaining time travel, and was like 'blahblah, when Ben turned that wheel blah blah blah', but wtf, only Ben and Locke and a select few others know that there even is a wheel. How's he know that? Inconsistency much?

Second, so apparently Ben's back on the island, BUT, didn't he say that once you leave the island, you can't come back?

...there was more, but iForgot, :monster:.

Yeah that first one is pretty confusing. I think it might just by a writing error.

The second one can probably just be put down on Ben being Ben rly.

...That actually explains the whole plot of all of Lost, thanks for that, :monster:.

The Smoke Monster is Ben's evil fart. I just know it.

The page you are seeking has expired and is no longer available at msnbc.com.

Also, I finished, I rule :monster:.

I severely doubt the bomb undoes everything, since that would basically throw away five years of story and character development. If it does however undo (part of) the actions, then that'd explain the return of the listed characters as named earlier in this thread.

As for Charlie, he's only 'seen' after his death by Hurley, and he's nuts :monster:. It wouldn't surprise me if he came back next season. The island cures cancer, surely it could revive a drowned fellow, :monster:.

Also, wtf at dun dun dunnn on Locke in the last episode.

I'm just glad LOST will finally be over with this final season. The show was fun and interesting at first, but then it just went so crazy and out of control with the plot twists and suspense to the point that I stopped caring. It drew me at first when it was just people who crashed on a weird island and were just trying to survive.

Now at least they've started to explain things... kind of... but with the reveals after all this time I'm getting more disappointed because it's just been too long.

^. First season was, imo, still the most intriguing. I'm now just watching because I want to see the end of the story and such, :monster:.
