I have no words.
I hope this franchise continues, or at least MGS4's mechanics are used in other games. I don't mind the story, though they were a bit lazy with story development in MGS4. Won't be getting Peace Walker, since I can't be bothered wasting my money on PSP for a single game (like I did with Nintendo DS, which I ended up selling after I realised this).
Trailers I've seen of gameplay look good, especially with co-op mode, I think that'd be awesome. I think the aircraft I've seen in the game look a tad bit WAY TOO FUTURISTIC though. I liked MGS for its slightly believable storyline (except for the spiritual crap with The Sorrow etc).
I wish Konami would take the gameplay systems and developments from MGS4 and Peace Walker and apply them to a new IP.
Think of all the baggage we could drop.
There's a decent chance of that.
Did you like MGS4's gameplay, Dac?
I genuinely don't think Kojima has considered that as an option. Would probably blow his mind if the idea were presented to him, with an "Of course!" reaction following.
Act 4 would have been good if it had substituted those silly robot things for actual enemies.
Act 5 was actually just one big cutscene. It was so full of itself that is was uncomfortable to watch.
Good thing they realised this before the epic final hour right? The splitscreen movie/gameplay was terrible too. Totally distracting.
Or Raiden, because you know HE'S A FUCKING ROBOT MAN. I'm sure the microwave would have fucked him up alot less than the terminally ill old man.
I do. Haven't you played MGS4 yet?
