More Square games headed for PSN

Japan has ahd these for a bit but now the North American PSN will be selling Threads of Fate, Legend of Mana, Vagrant Story, and Xenogears.

Excellent news. I have Xenogears on my PSP that I've been playing on and off. But it might be preferable to play it on a full screen. And maybe I'll get around to playing through Vagrant Story.

Awesome news. I've never played Xenogears but I've always heard such good things about it so I'll probably be picking it up. Also, I was wondering when Vagrant Story was going to be available on the North American PSN - took them long enough.

Heck yeah! I'm all for older titles been released again & i'm happy that seems to be the one thing SE and myself agree on. Hopefully this means they'll be released in Europe cause yeah, we never got Xenogears & i'd love to y'know, actually play it

Yet another example of Europe getting the bad deal. I haven't played Xenogears, or any of the other titles you mentioned. Maybe I should. But at the moment I'm too busy with FFVII.
Yes, I am busy with FFVII even 13 years after its release... I don't know whether to be happy or sad.

I've started it several times but never gotten around to finishing it. But the general consensus would appear to be yes. I always felt like the only Xenosaga fan that hadn't played Xenogears

It's a pretty good deal regardless, as its hard to find the disc...I've tried.

Missed this last week, but Vagrant Story went up at $6 and has joined the ever-growing list of PS1 classics on PSN that are calling to me.

Also, tomorrow Parasite Eve 1 will launch on PSN (presumably with PE2 next week in preparation for 3rd Birthday) for $6. That's the NA store, I'm not sure what's happening with Europe, Tets, but you could always make an NA account (once you get a new PS3, of course...)

Glad about this, but I've still got my PS1 copy & all my saved games.

Really hoping that PE1 will be hitting EU, since you've never had it, and PE2 hitting NA, since I've never played it.

I got about as far in PE1 as I did in Vagrant Story (which is to say - not very). So maybe I'll get around to it, not a huge priority at the moment though. As stated, several of the classic collection are tempting me.

In no particular order: Resident Evil 2 (never played it, but I know its reputation), Castlevania: SotN (same), Spyro 2 (always loved the demo I had for PS1...), and Vagrant Story. I bought Xenogears immediately, but decisions aren't getting any easier. And its not so much a matter of money as it is time...

I'm still playing through PE1 when I get around to plugging my PS2 back in, but I managed to make it 10 floors up the Chrysler Building without much trouble. Then I got to the boss. And it killed me easily.

I thought I'd just use Liberate, then I realised I wasn't a high enough level to have learnt it yet. So I just died instead.

Yeah, the bosses get progressively more insane too. It also doesn't help that once you reach the top:

The story is damn good too.
