Looks like we're getting through some good stuff, that pretty much certainly involves Madara, and MAYBE JUST POSSIBLY as far as Itachi & Sasuke vs. Kabuto, although there's nothing too clear on that. I'm also glad to see that it doesn't seem like there're crazy "unlock this by playing X character >9000 times" ones this time around.

And...

All of the Edo Tensei'd Kage are now confirmed playable!

So, after seeing this screenshot of the Planetary Rasengan, and watching all of the gameplay videos from the other day, it's started to sink in how much I absolutely LOVE the new interface. The Kawarimi meter is way better, not to mention the support gauges showing the support type and health. The Green/Orange/Red health system and Awakening Mode indicators just seem a lot more uniform and smoothly designed here than in Generations - and Generations wasn't even bad looking.

I can hardly wait for the demo in 2 weeks.

There're movesets for all the Jinchuriki, Gaara, & Naruto at these guys' YouTube channel if you're intereseted (I don't think that Naruto & Gaara's are the versions that we'll see in the game, because some parts are missing).

REGARDLESS: This one shows all of the Biju, and their normal Triangle + Circle Jutsu. They also ALL have a Biju Dama that's done with Triangle + Hold Circle.

Also: Rinnegan Tobi, Itachi, & Nagato!!!!
(Nagato is using his Asura Path gun. This scan shows the exact last thing I was hoping for).

Is the true form of Kurama available for combat? The one with the cape?

There's full artwork for him, and it's HIGHLY suspected that he is, but there's no official confirmation (but then again, that's the case with EVERYTHING yet to be shown in the anime - same reason it's being released later in Japan than it is in EU/NA). It has been shown in an Ultimate Jutsu, but not in any other form, but I'd be stunned if he wasn't.

I still don't understand why we've never seen a Shukaku in the entire series of the games. We've even had several versions of Gaara in one game and still not a single one even shows him. And we've seen Shukaka fight in the series, there's nothing left to speculation!

I am so confused.

The Japanese Demo is out. Here's the 20 mins of footage from it for those who don't have a Japanese PSN account. (Even though the NA/EU demo is out tomorrow, this is good just in case the NA/EU demos don't have an option for an alternate voice cast - which is usually the case with demos).

After having played it, I just have to say, HOLY HELL is it gorgeous.

Looking like a heap of really awesome stuff. I just cannot wait. With new Mass Effect DLC coming up between now and the game's release, I am all set for the next couple of weeks. Cannot wait to play as the two-tails.

I took the 5th and 6th off of work, because it's the only way I'll possibly have any time to play this, especially since I'll be moving to a new place the week after. xD Hopefully when I get set up at my new apartment, I'll have a little bit of free time during spring break to play online with ya.

I'm rather significantly disheartened not to see the Edo Kage, especially because the scan of them shows them as being normal 1-on-1 battle characters. I'm wondering what's up with that, since it seems REALLY odd not to have them, but to still have Madara. I'm hoping that there's a patch or something to add them in, especially since they have proper character icons, and everything that it seems like they should need to be playable, or at the VERY least support characters.

Kinkaku & Ginkaku feels like a miss, but we've never really seen any gameplay of them outside of the Hack-&-Slash mode, so they might only be configured for that type of battle. I'm sad about the 7 swordsmen, but to be honest, they really feel a bit more like the tough Samurai from the Hack & Slash mode, rather than fully designed characters, but the anime did enough with them that it feels like they could have been playable. I'm also sad that we don't have any for of Zetsu that's playable, because he's yet to have been included. I'm REALLY confused why all of them aren't at least available as support characters, since they all (aside from Zetsu) seem to have a Jutsu of some sort. (Hopefully THAT can be patched at least, since they did it with the Sound 4 previously, and all of these assets are already in the game).

Maybe I've not seen enough videos but noticing the 'secret factor' in Nagato's ultimate was a new thing for me. Secret factors in standard versus games (dependant on which character you're battling' is a great idea! I hope there are more.

Every boss battle is supposed to have them. They're supposed to make the fights play out almost exactly like the manga. I am CRAZY stoked for them.

Boss battles, yes. But watch the video you posted with Nagato fighting Naruto. That's definitely not a boss battle, or even a story battle by the look of it. It's just a custom VS battle and yet we see a secret factor.
THIS has me excited.

OH!! That's the Ultimate Finish! If you KO a character with an Ultimate, they all have secret factors that play out intercut into the Ultimate Jutsu. I'm not sure if they have character-specific ones, but it looks like they might given the context of that, as well as this Gai & Lee fight.
