Sorry I didn't shove this in here earlier. People were convinced on Monday that it was an april fool's gag.

Namco Bandai Games America and Europe have released new Naruto Storm 3 DLC (downloadable content)! They are alternate costumes for Akatsuki. Specifically, Pain with a torn cloak and Deidara, Itachi, and Kisame with their hats.

I don't know how much it is on the PSN store but it's a mere 80 MSpoints on Xbox so I guess it's worth downloading.

Also a week or so ago they released a different costume pack for Naruto, Ino, Hinata, Kakashi and Sasuke. The ones for Naruto, Ino and Hinata look good but Sasuke is a miss and you might want to spare your eyes from the horror that is Kakashi's.

Yeah this actually gets me a little upset (though they can be forgiven because of the amazing job they do on the game) because they could be releasing costume packs in the same way but actually putting out some decent story costumes.

The hats on the Akatsuki members was a nice touch and it was definitely good to see Pain with his cloak torn. More things to this effect would be great.

Having said all of that, Napoleon Sasuke just looks far too good to insult. :monster:

Agreed.

Totally agreed, and I want to see more of this.

Amazingly, I also completely agree with this as well. Even down to the fancy sword.

Yeah. All of the Naruto costumes are pretty dumb. Sasuke seems to rock outfits a lot better than his yellow-headed friend. Sasuke Kimono looks a hell of a lot better than Naruto Kimono.

I don't know what it is about the Napoleon outfit that makes it amazing. I concur that the sword makes it that much more awesome.

Confirmation of the Edo Kage as playable characters,

AND it looks like certain teams will result in NEW ULTIMATE JUTSU.

Like the Naruto/Sasuke combo above, that turns into a different combo if it's Naruto/Sasuke/Saukra:

I know that the combos are FAR too many to have one for everyone, but I'm glad that certain combos are getting cool Ultimate Jutsu alternates all Chrono Trigger-style.

Right!? I love the whole Chrono Trigger-y feeling to the combined Ultimate Jutsus now. I'm also way stoked about all the new anime stuff for Akatsuki & Shisui.

I've been considering getting one of these to see if I like them/like them more than the DBZ Budokai series. Any advice on which game to get, or should I not bother (because I really didn't like the DBZ games)?

Never played the DBZ Budokai series, but NUNS:3 is probably the one to get, as by-and-large, they get better on subsequent releases, and any of them will give you the general feel, but this one will have some of the mechanics closer to what Revelations will have if you end up liking it. Bronn could probably speak to his favourite as far as gameplay is concerned a little better than I can in terms of recommendations.

Generations or 3 will do the trick for me. The gameplay stays the same for the most part, with additional characters added in each instalment. The exception is the first UNS game on PS3, which had slightly different combat mechanics which were changed to balance out the gameplay.

Honestly though I'd buy Generations and then buy 3. That way you're not missing out on some of the boss fights which are a major highlight in these games. They mix enjoyable combat with fluid changes to the boss formula.
