Didn't think this game would ever be released world wide. And I'm hoping for the English voice acting too and all of the english cast return to reprise their roles!
Looking forward in hearing Yuffie(either her Advent Children and KH1 actress or Dirge of Cerberus and KH2 actress, I don't mind which one since I like them both) and Vincent(please come back, Steven Blum!) and especially Zack again!
Still wish Reno was in Dissidia, though. I'd love to hear Quinton Flynn reprise his role as him.

I really doubt a stage actress like Romano is going to take the time to fly to Texas or LA (Not sure where Square's studio is) to record a bunch of one-off lines. None of the celebrity actors besides Burton and Cook have ever returned for their roles, likely because those are consistant paychecks.
It's easier just to bring in VA regulars.

Well, the last time Steven Blum voiced Vincent was in Dirge of Cerberus 12 years ago and he still voices Final Fantasy characters today, so there might be a slight off chance of him returning as Vincent for Omina.
For example; Blum voiced Cid in Type-0 HD, and voiced Verstael in FFXV. Unless he already retired or has a sore throat or something like that, I think he'll return.
And like I said regards to Yuffie, either Romano or Whitman, as long it's one of them, I'm happy. And if Romano can't make it, then Whitman is the next best actress to reprise her role as Yuffie.
Blum is a voice actor by trade though, is kinda my point. So his entire life is about getting to recording studios to do his work. He was actually one of the better known gets for Square as far as VA elite go.
Romano on the otherhand, largely devoted herself to broadway post Disney. So far as I know, she's still in NYC mebbe? Longshot away from anywhere Square might be recording.

As I said, I don't mind Whitman taking over since she's very cool as Yuffie too. Out of all characters in everything that I love, Yuffie's the only one that has two that I actually really like, so depending on which one of them can't voice her, the other would take over, right?
Buuut, if both can't do it, then that's real bummer, but nothing any of us can do about it.
And if Blum's still working for Square, then maybe there's a chance of him returning as Vincent after twelve years....I said maybe.
His most recent job for Square was Verstael Besithia in Episode Prompto, so he's still working with them on good terms. And Square so far has done it's best to retain voice actors wherever possible for the sake of continuity. And like I said, Blum is an A list voice actor, and his career.
Whitman has had a very eclectic career, but still focuses on voice acting, and likely would have no problem doing what probably amounts to a day or two of work at most, given that Opera Omnia characters don't even have their entire lines read, due to the size management of a mobile game.
This is what voice actors do, I'm sure they know how to handle a paycheck job when one comes around, especially when it comes to dealing with a high profile game company job.
We’re getting this globally, it’s up on google play for pre registration:

Coming this month. I'm hoping it's going to use English voices as well...
Anyone downloaded this yet? The voices ARE in japanese, but there is an option to turn them off.
I was a massive fan of Record Keeper but eventually got far too annoyed at the low success rate for draws, alongside the fact that so many new abilities and character enhancements were tied to it, and the massive daily grind.
I'm just playing through the tutorial levels, but so far, I'm really liking this game. It has a nice art style and I LOVE the fact that draws seem to only be about enhancements to abilities that you already possess and not something that you don't currently have. Hopefully that trend continues the further I get into the game.
The turn-based battles with the BRV and HP mechanic reminds me a little of both XIII and Bravely Default in some ways.
I'm not sure if I have the time to invest in this at the moment, but will definitely give it a try.
