My favourite fun fact about that is that he's fooled a lot of people, because he is damn good at it and keeps it up all day that they're shooting, and when Maria Doyle Kennedy first heard his natural accent she was totally caught off guard. They discussed it in a video somewhere, but I can't find it. There is an article about it here though: http://ew.com/article/2014/03/16/orphan-black-jordan-gavaris-felix/
He has one slip up in an earlier season that doesn't sound right which made me suspect, but his accent is generally fantastic. I didn't know he wasn't English until I watched interviews either.
"Sara Aoyama (Kang Ji-Young) was an orphan and is now a single mother. She has suffered through poverty, lack of understanding from society and other problems that led to her being separated from her daughter. She believes that if she has money, her life will change. One day, Sara Aoyama sees a woman killing herself by jumping in front of a train. The woman who jumped looks just like her doppleganger. Sara Aoyama is stunned, but takes the woman's bag. Since then, her life takes an unpredictable turn."
We remake their stuff all the time, so it's cool to know that that also happens the other direction, too. It'll be really interesting to see how closely it adheres to the original, and if they make deviations from it, what they'd be and where. It'll also be interesting to see if they'd translate characters like Mrs. S. to be involved in the Triads or something like that since they'd need to preserve her IRA badassery from a different background.
