yeah! :) it was discussed a bit in that gamefaqs thread you made a while back. and now that i bring it up, i do under what you mean by clessie getting hated on, there was a lot of people there hating on simple objective points of the official content S/E had shown. but that's really the only time. the rest are just sour stans that their favourite girl isn't 100% the main spotlight 24/7. by then again, regardless of context it still counts as senseless hate. idk why people just don't back off.


oh man i really wish you didn't say jessie had a theme. now I'm gonna keep daydreaming about it the whole time lmao

Lol, I know what you mean, I'm anxious to hear it, too. It just kinda makes it official, in a way, her having her own theme. Jessie's a real FF7 girl now. Not a five-minute bit character anymore, that's for sure!

And about the gamefaqs thread, yeah I got a lot of hostility there. Some guys were trying to say the leaks showed it wasn't a thing, but they were also saying the leaks had everything when really they don't - there are large gaps and other things missing. So I didn't pay any attention to it. And I've been told by friends here that the gamefaqs boards are basically a cesspit of trolls, which I've also seen from my own experience. So I don't put much stock in anything most people there have to say, since usually it's just idiots looking for attention.

Yeah, I've seen that. It's part of what Clessie's had to endure all these years. Hopefully the remake will change the reception for it up a bit, though, make it a bit warmer.

Maybe try replaying the OG for a bit? It's not the remake, but it might scratch that FF7 itch for a bit.

I've played the OG so many times now it hurts. Honestly, part of why I wanted the remake so much was to put some new life into the story because playing the original just isn't fun anymore unless I put years between playthroughs.

EDIT: oh wait, there was a stupid thing I wanted to do here today. I forgot! Gimme a minute

Yeah, I know. I tend to get obsessive with stuff like this though. Even at work I've been checking for status changes to my shipping info every 15 minutes. Okay, go look at the OG FF7 forum for my stupid nonsense. And while I'm posting videos of my mod, here's another one:
This was one of the most baffling removals for me. In the final game BWJ just run onto the train without saying anything. Here we see them hesitating, clearly shaken by the damage from the first reactor explosion. This is probably the most openly flirtatious Jessie ever got in the original, too. It's a nice scene! Why'd they take it out? Oh well, that's what my mod is for.

Yeah, that's a good scene. I didn't restore it in my mod, instead having Jessie give Cloud his special ID as a key item at that point and having a little dialogue with him to let him possibly earn more affection points with her, but now that I think about it, I may have Biggs and Wedge express their doubts a little like in that scene before they get on the train and after Jessie's moment with Cloud. It would give them a bit of time and development, too.

i actually have loads to do before the big day. catch up on reading this book my sister wants me to read and then catching up on some comics i want to read myself. so perhaps it'll be enough to bury myself and come up for air and it won't be too hard. because so far on the internet i have 3 places to go to and that's no fun.

It is official! I saw most of chapter 2 of remake but not going to spoil it all I am gonna say it is so worth it for me spoiling myself and a Jessie scene at beginning will make everyone jump for joy lol

but you have to see for yourself when you see. Right now I am more or less spoiling myself it has been a bad day and I need to see Jessie stuff
