This would be Sony's Playstation-specific event. I read an interview earlier where the interviewer questioned a Sony rep on a few points, and the responses were:

- This event is for fans
- December was chosen as it's usually slow for gaming news
- They're trying to make it so that all the big annoncements don't always happen at E3/ Gamescom
- All first party PS developers will be in attendance
- Various unreleased titles will be on show
- There will definitely be new announcements
- There will definitely be a new Uncharted 4 trailer/ more info/ possibly playable demo
- The keynote is "not to be missed"
- All of it will be livestreamed

So the keynote begins on Saturday (6th) at:

10:00 US Pacific
12:00 US Central
13:00 US Eastern
14:00 Carlie
18:00 UK
19:00 Fangu

and so on and so forth

I know that the VGAs are tonight at some point and there are to be some pretty sweet announcements (possibly fallout 4 from what I've heard from friends) so having a press/fan event the day after is a bit weird.

If I'm not at the works night out at 6pm I'll defintley check it out.

VGAs have been pretty shit always, so I don't doubt this new iteration will be any different. Definitely not staying up for that.

Last year's was hilarious with Joel McHale trolling the shit out of them. They so had it coming, it was perfect.

As terrible and disconnected from any actual gaming they are, they still show some cool trailers so yeah I'm watching it.

I'm still waiting to hear when Journey is going to be released for the PS4. It was announced alongside The Unfinished Swan which came out at the tail end of November there - Flower and Fl0w are already out and it's listed as making an appearance at this event.

I know it's not the most exciting title in the world, but I haven't actually played it yet. I could get it right now for PS3 obviously but since the PS4 release was set for before the end of 2014 I think I'd rather wait and play it on PS4. I was just really hoping they'd be like "out this weekend" or something lmao.
