So if Zendaya is on the poster does that mean she has a much bigger role than we are being lead to believe? Because we still know jack squat about her character.

However, I am kind of wishing I hadn't watched these trailers because now I feel like I know way too much. :/

Also, I am kind of worried because I just caaaaaaan't get past the feeling that they stole Miles's best friend and gave him to Peter. It's like, I would love for Miles to one day down the road join the MCU. Don't steal his narrative and give it to Peter.

I mean unless they are going to make Harry Osborn Miles's best friend then I guess it's a fair trade off. :monster:

+1 to all of that. It's been giving me weird vibes the whole time, and it's why the Donald Glover & Tom Holland scene gives me a little tiny glimmer of hope that there's some sort of twist on the whole thing that might be awesome, but it still feels like hijacking that narrative any time that they get into his personal life.

All I know is that I will have SO MANY THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS when I walk out of the theater from this film, and I have no idea what they're going to be.

The trailers look amazing. Really pumped for this, and I haven't been excited for Spider-man is such a long time.

Yeah, same, definitely watching this. As for the movie posters, first one looks like it was put together by an amateur. I don't mind the second one. Just seems a bit too clean, fake, and shopped.

So, Venom still being in obviously sucks (the film absolutely would have been better without him; they still could have set him up for a fourth movie that never happened, though) -- but they fixed the biggest thing that was wrong with the original cut: Harry's change of heart.

That stupid scene with the butler was awful. Flimsy evidence or hard evidence, it should never have been evidence that Peter didn't randomly murder Norman that brought about Harry's change of heart. It should have always just been a decision that no matter what happened that night between his dad and Spider-Man, Pete is his friend and he loves him.

For me, this change actually saves the movie. I look forward to watching it again done right.


EDIT: I love that for the related articles on io9, they have one entitled "Sam Raimi: Spider-Man 3 Wasn't My Fault" and another entitled "Sam Raimi: The Problems With Spider-Man 3 Were "My Mistake.'"

Zendaya's character has been revealed. I wasn't going to look but I think I may just have accidentally had it spoiled for me.

Apparently there's some kid's book that's a tie-in to the movie that someone found in a store and has the name of her character. I'm not even going to say who I think it might be. Just go look it up if you want to know.

No one tell me, I'm going to pretend that I don't know anything...

The voices are done by the original cast and the illustrations are official. You used to be able to get the complete script for this 66th episode by funding an indiegogo campaign, but you can no longer donate.

I have not been able to find a copy of the full script. I am unlikely to get a reply but I sent a message on John Semper Jr.'s Spiderman TAS facebook page in hope of learning of a way to get the file.

There's no confirmation online that any more lines have been- or will be recorded, but there is supposed to be a complete "Peter Finds Mary Jane" script out there, written by John Semper Jr. who was the producer and head writer of Spiderman TAS. My guess is that they're not planning on turning the script into a full animated (or even just illustrated) episode.

Also THANK YOU TENNYO FOR SHOWING EXCITEMENT! :D I've been waiting 24 hours for somebody to get as excited about this snippet as I am!
