Gotta say, Steve Smith is a bit of a freak. Seeing lots of comparisons to Don Bradman. I wonder how Bradman would handle the modern game.

It still amazes me that he was first picked as a leg spinner. His late blossoming as a batsman might explain his rather unorthodox style. It seems to work pretty well for him though.

OK, that's an understatement. He's unbelievably good. Before this series I thought there was a small, elite group of batsmen on more or less the same level – Smith, Joe Root, Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson. But Root has had a mediocre series and nobody in the world can touch Smith right now.

It's hard to imagine Australia losing a series, or at least a home series, with the kind of form he's in. Nobody can get him out! Two of his four dismissals in this series have been dragging on, which is unlucky for him (lucky for England), yet he's still averaging 151.00 for the series. He's a freak all right.

I always care about epic sporting moments like that. :reptar: The second video, where you can really hear the noise of the crowd, gave me goosebumps.

I don't really have an NFL team to root for. Anyone but the Pats, right? :monster:

Anyone but the Cowboys, tbh. :monster:

No but you can root for the Vikings. :)

Ireland predictably destroyed Italy in the Six Nations, England picked up the win over Wales.

Scotland took down France and I'm pleasantly surprised, because I'd all but written them off. Gonna be an interesting few weeks

It's all that Swiss chocolate.

Why would anybody want to know about American football when they could know about Journalism Cliches, Canadian Cities, or Before and After? There's only so much room in any given brain. :monster:

Well, turns out Australian Cricket captain Steve Smith is a huge cheat. Not only do I think he should be removed from the captaincy, but should be banned from the game. I think this is one of those events that'll be talked about for decades. Horrific. Really hoping that the coach Darren Lehmann isn't involved, because that'd be a dark stain on an otherwise legendary career as well.
