Suggestion: A Break From Alt-Names

So many active people right now are people that hid in the wings before the people who left (whom I love but they could be loud and overbearing) left.

Restrain yourselves ladies. Somebody is on the charm offensive.

I'd suggest it be the first name in the aka. Otherwise there's a real danger that we come across as cliquey and unwelcoming.

This might be the only good idea that's been put forward in this thread. Everything else seems like a more complicated way to work around a problem that could be solved by people being arsed to pay more attention.

Then again, what do I know? My name isn't really Alex.
