tl;dr It's not one movie split in two but two distinct films thus the renaming to avoid misleading people

I kinda like the transition from comic pages to concept art to movie clips. =P

I think it does a good job of letting them subtly show what films are a part of their continuity and all that, while using a different one for Marvel property films done by other studios.

To be honest, I still like the original logo the most. Just the flipping pages+logo. Quick, simple, stylish.

It should be even less subtle. At the end, have it say:

Remember back in the day, when movies opened with an abstract intro and the whole list of the people that worked on it? Yeah, skip that, I don't give a shit, fuck off and give me the damn movie already.

I'm glad they moved the post-credits scene up before the tl;dr, too.

I fully expect them to truncate it and edit it appropriately according to what hero they're adapting. The elegance of the previous version was that it would flick through comic book panels specifically relevant to the adaptation, an indication of at least some degree of respect for the origin material

To be honest I'm more okay with one self-indulgent 35-second logo than the two minute onslaught of random shorter ones that you sometimes get

Weirdly, I have very mixed feelings about this'n. I should be into it, but having not liked Winter Soldier and Civil War, I think the Russos are going to make technically well executed movie that I will have trouble liking.

I seem to be losing my enthusiasm for stuff. Aww.
